In able to pay back the people for her success, Song Hye Kyo, together with Professor Seo Kyung-Deok of Sungshin Women's University donated 10,000 copies of Hangul Guide to Utoro, Japan on Hangul Day. Utoro is a small Korean village in Japan where Koreans, where living and doing their best not be wiped out in Japan wherein these people, were those who were forced to work for Japan from Korean Peninsula during the Japanese Colonialism in Korea.
The two have been campaigning to donate Hangul guides to Korean historical sites around the world for eight years. Professor Seo explained to his social media,
"It is good to donate to new places, but we are also steadily refilling the project so that it is not lacking in places like Utoro village."
He added, "I recently promised to do my best to donate all the guidebooks even if it takes a long time at the site of Song Hye-Kyo and the Korean independence movement."
Furthermore, In August, they also donated 10, 000 copies of Hangul Guide Books in Chonqing Museum in honor of the National Liberation day of Korea.
Fans and netizens were praising Song Hye Kyo for being a role model towards other stars, that in spite of being popular, they should also look back and take time to lend a hand and make a change, may it be big or small that they can do.
As for Song Hye Kyo, she used her influence to support Korean Education not only in Korea but as well as to those different countries around the world.
Meanwhile, Song is back in her Social media account after a long hiatus where she posted some of her stunningly gorgeous photos, after taking a short break in the entertainment field, due to the divorce of her and his ex-husband Song Joong Ki.
