My Friend's Opinion:
As a fan of Jung Hae In, I was excited when I heard him taking the lead role in this K-drama. This is Jung Hae In's first lead role. This drama made me admire Jung Hae In more. The plot is a bit cliché but he proved that he is a great actor. I got a bit jealous of the female lead whenever they had romantic scenes. This is not a pure romance because there are moments when you need to grab a tissue for your tears. After watching the drama, my boyfriend's standards went a little higher, thanks to Jung Hae In!
My Own Opinion:
I had a second lead syndrome after I watched Woo Tak (Jung Hae In) in While You Were Sleeping. I can't wait to watch his first lead role in Something in the Rain when I heard the news. He has a lot of charms in this drama and I was left wanting more. He is very attractive to his character. He is the best boyfriend that every girl could ever wish for. He is a loving boyfriend but sometimes he has a bad temper. Nevertheless, he is very loveable.
Son Ye Jin is the female lead. She is a beautiful woman and I could not believe no man took her seriously. She is a great actress and played her character realistically. Her simple life becomes more fun and complicated when she met the man who will love her for real. This drama portrayed the reality that sexual harassment can occur in the workplace. A few women bravely defended themselves against abusive men. It shows the importance of standing for yourself and speaking up the truth. Women should be treated with respect. This drama is a light romance with the touch of life issues that is very relatable. I love the soundtrack and Jung Hae In's killer smile that made me fall in love with him.
I Recommend It To:
People that struggle in looking for the right guy and those who are doing their best to hide their relationship because they feel other people will not understand.
