"Hot Stove League" Nam Gung Min, Park Eun Bin, and Cho Byung Kyu have captured different emotions during the back alley catch ball scene.
The SBS gold drama "Hot Stove League," which first started its broadcast on the 13th, is a straightforward drama featuring a warm winter story wherein a new coach leads a losing baseball team to victory. "Hot Stove League" continues to break through with two-digit ratings in just four episodes with a sympathetic story and cool "refreshing dialogue lines" that have increased the diversity of Korean dramas.
Nam Gung Min plays the newly appointed head manager, Baek Seung Soo. Park Eun-bin acts the character of Lee Se Young, the first-ever female and youngest professional baseball team squad leader and Han Byung Kyu, an operation employee of the Dreams team.
In this regard, the scene of "dream catch ball" which features all three actors Nam Gung Min, Park Eun Bin and Cho Byung Kyu captivated the attention of the viewers. In the play, Baek Seung Soo (Nam Gung Min) and Lee Se Young (Park Eun Bin) witnessed Han Jae Hee (Cho Byung Kyu) catching the baseball. The hard-working Baek Seung Soo looks calm, and Lee Se Young smiled as she was relieved. Above all, Han Jae Hee, who gave off a sloppy impression, appeared in full catcher's clothing wearing gloves, masks, etc. The attention was focused on whether Han Jae Hee, who has escaped from his weakness, strengthened his character, and challenged the catcher, will be able to play a good defensive role against the monster pitcher.
On the other hand, Nam Gung Miin, Park Eun Bin, and Cho Byung Kyu showed tension and excitement in shooting the catch ball scene that occurred after a long time. Nam Gung Min tried to focus himself with the emotions by holding the scripts in his hands all the time in order to express the inner side of Manager Baek. Park Eun Bin showed a passionate acting through vivid expressions. Cho Byung Kyu was the first to arrive at the shooting site, practicing catch balls and preparing to become a decent catcher. Even in the hassle of having to revise the makeup due to sweating constantly, Cho Byung Kyu's enthusiasm for the film without complaining gained the staff's request.
The production team mentioned, "Nam Gung Min, Park Eun Bin, and Cho Byung Kyu are masters when it comes to delivering the detailed emotions demanded by the scenes. The small-expression, intonation, and movement of the actors even in an insignificant scene are amazing." After this scene, many situations will occur, not just catch the ball. Please look forward to episode 5 and all the future broadcast."
On the other hand, on the 25th, a special back to back rebroadcast is scheduled, where people can review episodes of 1 to 4 again from 2:40 PM KST. The 5th episode of "Hot Stove League" will be broadcasted at 10 PM on the 27th, but the 6th episode will not be broadcasted due to the live 2019 SBS Entertainment Awards program.
