However, up until this moment, the show still remains to be one of the most unforgettable series in the hearts of many K-drama fans.

This 2013 hit drama presented one of the most famous plots of Korean dramas of its kind. It's a rich boy falls in love with a poor girl, then his former best friend also forms a crush on the poor girl and causes a big love triangle fuss kind of plot. You get the drill, right?

But this high school drama became a hit series in South Korea and overseas thanks to the amazing chemistry of its cast. Have you ever wondered what the cast of this amazing show is up to right now?

Well, here are some updates of what Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye from Jeguk High School have been doing since graduating from their famous alma mater.

Lee Min Ho

There's just something about Lee Min Ho that makes him so good in portraying a sassy but soft-hearted character. The role that he portrayed in "The Heirs" as Kim tan was almost the same as his character in "Boys Over Flower" as Gu Jun Pyo.

Both characters played like a rich kid in school, but although given almost the same characters, it did not stop Lee Min Ho from exploring other projects.

In 2015 the film "Gangnam Blues" was released which was his first leading role in a film. He played as a member of the Korean mafia in the 1970s in Seoul, South Korea. In the year 2016, he accepted another role in an action comedy film "Bounty Hunters" that has topped box office charts in South Korea and China.

Later in that same year, we saw him as a leading man in the small-screen hit drama "Legend of the Blue Sea." This drama was the last project that Lee min Ho accepted before the enlisted o the military. In the year 2017, he entered the military where he served as public service personnel. He was dismissed from his military service last April 2019 and has kept a low profile since then.

Now the long wait is over for the min Ho fans since he is making his official comeback with the drama The King: The Eternal Monarch where he will be starring with Kim Go Eun. This drama is scheduled to premiere this year 2020 and will be directed by The Heirs showrunner.

Park Shin Hye

The stardom of Park Shin Hye was already on top before working on the drama "The Heirs" but it was given that her portrayal of Cha Eun Sang in this particular drama made her even more famous.

She then went on making a mix of dramas and movies after the show and everything she does give her more acting recognitions along the way. In the year 2015, she was recognized as the number 33 in Forbes Korea's Power Celebrity List, all thanks to her performance on The Heirs and the drama Pinocchio.

Some of her famous films were the acclaimed tear-jerker Miracle In Cell No. 7 (2013), My Annoying Brother (2016), and crime thriller Heart Blackened (2017).

She also was seen in small-screen hits like Doctors in 2016 and the cable hit Memories of the Alhambra (2018). Then in the year 2017, she climbed up to the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list as the top 12. Her latest project was in the thriller film Call in 2019 and is set to appear in the movie ALONE in 2020.

We can't wait for more new projects from these stars. The fans are still hoping for both leads to star again in a new drama.
