WOODZ's agency has addressed speculation surrounding the singer's alleged past relationship with Kim Sae Ron, which has resurfaced.

In a statement shared with South Korean media outlets, including Xportnews, EDAM Entertainment addressed the dating rumors, which resurfaced amid online discussions and circulating photos.

"Since it is his personal life, we cannot verify the reports," the agency said.

Rumors of a romantic relationship between WOODZ, whose real name is Cho Seung-youn, and Kim first emerged in 2021 and 2022.

At the time, netizens cited several pieces of so-called "evidence," including social media interactions, a coffee truck reportedly sent by Kim to a set where WOODZ was filming, and photos of the two together.

The rumor comes at a time when Kim is already facing public scrutiny over her rumored connections to another mega-celebrity, the actor Kim Soo Hyun.

She is also facing criticism related to a leaked video and other alleged romantic associations, which have drawn widespread attention across online platforms.

Neither WOODZ nor Kim has personally commented on the matter as of Monday.

WOODZ, formerly a member of UNIQ and X1, is currently pursuing a solo career under EDAM Entertainment.

Kim Sae Ron, who debuted as a child actress, has faced both praise and controversy throughout her acting career.

She is currently not active in public promotions.
