It's a busy time for U-Kiss's Jun with a new drama series and new pictorial for Star1 magazine. During the shoot, he also had the chance for an interview and shared his fun time while filming for "Good Casting."
The singer-turned-actor Jun currently appears in the SBS drama, in character as Kang Woo Won, a sought-after rising star with a despicable attitude towards his staff. He travels to two countries, Korea and Taiwan, for entertainment purposes, all arranged by his agency. Little did he know that his assistant is carrying illegal transactions.
Kang Woo Won is famous and practices a very grandeur lifestyle. He meets Im Ye Eun, played by Yoo In Young, renewing his contract with a higher talent fee. Ye Eun is one of the agents of NIS. She is assigned to monitor Woo Won for any involvement of illegal transactions. The previous assistant ran away with a chip, which is flagged as VIP for their enemies. The people who require the chip thought Woo Won has it and flagged him as wanted for their mafia group.
U-Kiss's Jun works with actress Yoo In Young with an age gap difference. Although it never matters as their chemistry is working well onscreen. In their many scenes together, they display hilarious acts.
In one of the first scenes in "Good Casting," Jun showed a funny side of him when In Young destroyed his dressing area and revealed his naked body, although private parts are covered for public viewing as required by censorship.
When asked about his reaction Jun shared that he didn't have enough time to get ready and had to rush to tone his physique, adding that he regrets it. Jun also shared that in "Good Casting," he had to cast his image aside and let himself loose. Then, the act-dol revealed that viewers will see a lot of his energetic and funny side that they haven't seen in the past.
In another scene, both the characters were abducted, and Jun was hit in the head. Yoo In Young was terrified and thought of how they would escape, given that they were close to death being taken by their captors. Luckily, other agents, Kim Ji Young and Choi Kang Hee, arrived to rescue them.
Jun is surrounded by seniors in the set. He shared how grateful he is to star alongside Yoo In Young, sharing that she approached him first and made it easier for him to act comfortably. Jun added that they get along well that they start laughing on the set just by looking at each other's faces.
The interview went on about his performance in "Swag Age." Jun fondly acknowledged his fans who loved him as a musical star, going by his given name Joon Young. He added that he aspires to be like the veteran star Hwang Jung Min who has a long-running career and switches back and forth the silver screen, the stage, and the TV.
