SBS drama "Backstreet Rookie" is a love story with comedic moments that are set around a 24-hour convenience store. The show is based on a popular webtoon, chiefly about the convenience store owner, Choi Dae Hyun (Ji Chang Wook), and part-time worker Jung Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung).
The newly shared stills show Choi Dae Hyun and Jung Saet Byul's first meeting somewhere outside the convenience store. This meeting was even before she started working part-time in Choi Dae Hyun's convenience store. As they meet, Jung Saet Byul and Choi Dae Hyun show different facial expressions. Jung Saet Byul looks confident and is saying something with a smile while Choi Dae Hyun is looking a bit shocked by Jung Saet Byul's sudden appearance.
Jung Saet Byul's confidence allows her to make eye contact with Choi Dae Hyun while Choi Dae Hyun shies away. In their first meeting, Jung Saet Byul was able to give a bold first impression on Choi Dae Hyun.

Despite her fiery personality, Jung Saet Byul is also warm-hearted and quite adorable. Kim Yoo Jung likes the fact that the drama is set in a convenience store, which is quite unique. She added that she likes the stories of the people that come in and out of the convenience store.
