On the first day of June during an interview, Park Bo Gum's agency, Blossom Entertainment, did not disclose any comment of information about the Park's military enlistment to avoid conflict. Additionally, only a few people knew about the plans about his application to join the navy's cultural promotion team.
Many waited, as to whether the actor is accepted or not, now on June 25, his agency confirmed he passed and will be enlisted. His agency released a statement stating:
"Hello.
This is Blossom Entertainment, and we are making this announcement because of the actor Park Bo Gum's military enlistment.
Park Bo Gum was accepted as a cultural promotion soldier of the navy, and he will be enlisting on August 31, 2020. He will complete filming for the film "Wonderland" and drama "Record of Youth" (literal title) prior to his enlistment.
We ask for your support so actor Park Bo Gum can fulfill his military duty in good health. Thank you."
They also added that, until Park Bo Gum's enlistment, they want to finish filming both the movie "Wonderland" and the drama "Youth Records." It'' still take more than two months to complete filming, so before he goes to military, he will be surely jam-packed with busy and tight schedules.
Because of this, it's also impossible for a send-off event. Surely the idol-actor will be very tired and we wouldn't want him to be overworked. Bo Gum has not released any comments or sentiments yet, but most probably many heart-broken fans will be saddened by the news. They'll surely be devastated to know that they have to wait almost two years before seein another movie or series that has Park Bo Gum in it.

Also, the sixteen episode drama series The Moment, o also known as Record of Youth is another gift for his fans. In this drama Park Bo Gum will play as Sa Hye-Joom. He is smart and good looking. He is a very popular model what he truly desire is to become an actor. Like many aspiring actor, he will experience a lot of hardship and rejection and will go though auditioning multiple times but to no avail.
The Moment will follow the lives of three young adults in the fashion and modeling world and how to come about in making their dreams come true. He will be joined by Par So Dam and Byun Woo Suk.
Lastly, he is still currently filming Wonderland which will probably be shown on 2021. Together with Suzy, Choi Woo Shik, Jung Yu Mi and Gong Yoo, "Wonderland" is a simulated place where people can get reunited to people who have departed and people who are in coma. Suzy and Pak Bo Gum will be a couple. Park Bo Gum falls into coma and Bae Suzy will be requesting to enter Wonderland to meet him.
Though, Park Bo Gum will be away for a long time to fulfill his duties, his two films and drama will surely fill our hearts.
