We have witnessed the biggest Korean actors and actresses in their hit drama series in the first half this year. Indeed, it was a roller-coaster ride full of a mix of emotions such as laughter, tears, and inspiration, which became our companion while on lockdown.

However, in the second half of 2020, expect more drama series starring huge celebrities to make your nights busy as a bee. There has been a new batch of drama's announced and made viewers more excited. Also, new plots and storylines are gearing up for release with great actors on the line.

Here is the list of Korean dramas to look forward to in the coming months.

LUCA (TVN)

Genre: Mystery, Supernatural, Sci-Fi, Drama

A story based on Charles Darwin's "On The Origin of Species," the drama tackles the story of Ji Oh, played by Kim Rae Won, whose identity and extraordinary power makes him a target of mysterious enemies. He will co-star with Lee Da-hee, who plays a detective's role and is searching for the truth behind her parents' mysterious disappearance.

TALE of the NINE TAILED (TVN)

Genre: Fantasy, Romance, Drama

Lee Rang, played by Lee Dong Wook, arrives in the city and is able to transform into a human being. He became the target for a show with producer Jo Bo-ah and smitten by his physical perfection. The journey unfolds as they begin to find out each other's abilities as the other one comes from a different world, while she gets smitten by his charm.

ALICE (SBS)

Genre: Mystery, Sci-Fi, Drama, Fantasy

It revolves around the story of travelers as before they go back in time. A man and woman who are separated by death then reunited by overcoming the limits of time and space. Yoon Tae Yi, played by Kim Hee Sun, is a genius physicist who holds the key to uncovering time travel secrets. Park Jin Kyum, played by Joo Won, is a detective who has hidden knowledge about time travel. They meet and unravel behind time travel journeys together.

THE SCHOOL NURSE (Netflix)

Genre: Mystery, Fantasy, Comedy, Horror

Ahn Eun Young, played by Jung Yoo Mi, is a nurse teacher and an exorcist. Through her special ability, she wishes to eradicate wandering bad ghosts. She then gets help from her co-teacher Hong In Pyo, played by Nam Joo Hyuk.

SWEET HOME (Netflix)

Genre: Thriller, Suspense, Horror

The story revolves around a high school student who is bullied and traumatized in school, making him dislike leaving his room. His family then moves to a new place and loses any contact with them. Being alone, mystery and strange things started to evolve around him. Starring Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Shi Young, Park Kyu Young, and Lee Do Hyun, the "Sweet Home" release is set to be announced by Netflix.

LOVE ALARM (TVN, Netflix)

Genre: Friendship, Comedy, Romance

Are you excited for "Love Alarm" Season 2? This second half of 2020, Netflix gathers the original cast and creates a new plot and storyline for another series. It deals with people who want to know and find their new love interest using a mobile application, which is based on a hit webtoon series with the same name. Kim So Hyun, Jung Ga Ram, and Song Kang is set to make you feel in love again this 2020!

RECORD OF YOUTH (TVN)

Genre: Romance, Drama, Family

This drama will revolve around people's lives in the fashion industry and a new generation that tackles life status and dreams that not everyone has the luxury to afford. Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam will co-star for the first time along with actor Byun Woo-Suk.

START-UP (TVN)

Genre: Comedy, Romance, Drama

Seo Dal Mi, played by Bae Suzy, is a chaebol, but she prefers to work for her own money and start her own company. On the other side, Nam Do San, played by Nam Joo Hyuk, is a founder of a start-up company and struggles to keep it running. He then seeks help with Han Ji Pyung, played by Kim Seon Ho, to make the business successful.

STRANGER 2 (TVN, Netflix)

Genre: Mystery, Crime, Drama

The story of the K-drama circle around two powerful departments but stand in different directions in handling criminal cases. Prosecutor Hwang Shimok, played by Jo Seung Woo and detective Han Yeo Jin played by Bae Doo Na, then decided to chase after the truth in a complicated-hidden case.

FLOWER OF EVIL (TVN)

Genre: Suspense, Romance, Thriller

Baek Hee Sung, played by Lee Joon Gi, is a hard-working craftsman and an ideal husband. Homicide detective Cha Ji Won, played by Moon Chae Won, is on solving a crime, but she never knows that the responsible culprit is just around her watching.
