"Into The Ring" producers unveiled some pictures of the forthcoming episodes, showing Goo Se Ra and Seo Gong Myung with their roles changed and the challenge that it brings to the two of them. Some spoilers were also revealed: one of which is when Goo Se Ra finds herself to be a chairwoman of the district council of Mawon.
The challenge that both the main roles will encounter is that they will now work for each other. In the stills, Goo Se Ra can't seem to take her eyes off Seo Gong Myung as he does his duties as her secretary.
Another spoiler revealed when a scene involving the family of Goo Se Ra and Seo Gong Myung takes pictures of them in front of their car as if he was shooting a cover for a magazine.
The next episode showcases how Goo Se Ra and Seo Gong Myung manage, perform their daily task, and accomplish them because of how they would usually argue. With this switch, they will encounter each other even more often and that their romance and chemistry will finally heighten and be taken on a whole new level. Not only that, but one character in the series hatched a plan of having Goo Se Ra as the chairwoman to have her as their puppet for them to achieve their goals.
"Into The Ring" is about a woman named Goo Se Ra, played by Nana, who comes from a poverty-stricken background. She's a hardworking lady who supports herself even only through part-time jobs. She is someone who is liked by many because of her bubbly personality.
Also starring in the series is Park Sung Hoon, playing as Seo Gong Myung, who is a fifth-grade public officer. He is kind and is a man of his word because he mainly sticks to the things that he believes in, and this trait is sometimes annoying to people because he can show off as someone unfriendly in the series.
In an interview, Nana said that through her character and the show, they get to educate people about the law since most people now usually don't show their trust to lawmakers nowadays. She hopes to make people realize how essential it is to have those kinds of people in our society.
The drama mainly revolves around regional politics and the district office.
She also added that this role is a little bit different from the usual characters she has accepted and that this role can showcase a happy version.
Park Sung Hoon also said in the interview that he is excited in the part that he was given since in the previous K-dramas that he's in; he plays as someone who is anti-social who doesn't care in the happenings around him.
"Into The Ring," also known as "Memorials," is undoubtedly a series that is a perfect mix of both romance and comedy and is something to look forward to weekly. It airs every Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. KST.
