Ji Chang Wook, who currently plays as the male lead in "Backstreet Rookie," has been freshly paired with the actress Kim Ji Won from "Arthdal Chronicles" and "Descendants of The Sun." To join them is the producing director of the hit drama, "It's Okay Not To Be Okay," Park Shin Woo.
It's truly a drama to look out for!
KakaoTV's "Love Laws of City Men and Women," also known as "City Couple's Way of Love," tells a story about a dangerous game of love in the city. According to Ji Chang Wook's agency, Glorious Entertainment, and Kim Ji Won's agency, SALT entertainment, both actors were in the process of reading and reviewing the script of the romance drama and said that the possibility of both of the actors starring in the drama is huge as they were able to discuss it positively.
Fortunately, on the 27th day of July, a news report confirmed that the upcoming romantic series will be starred by Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won!
Kim Ji Won will be given an ample amount of time to rest before filming "Love Laws of City Men and Women" as it was announced that the cast will start shooting on the first week of October and will be scheduled to premiere in November.
After the actress signed a contract with her new agency, "Love Laws of City Men and Women" will be the first-ever project she'll be starring in. She played the lead role in the fantasty-romance series, "Arthdal Chronicles," in 2019, where reunited with her "Descendants of The Sun" co-star Song Joong Ki.
"Arthdal Chronicles" was supposed to film its subsequent season. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, several of the places where the drama had to shoot were restricted, which resulted in the filming being rescheduled until next year.
"Love Laws of City Men and Women" is said to be unlike typical Korean dramas due to the series having 12 episodes only. It will air on channel KakaoTV's, and each episode has a run time of only 25 minutes, which is quite short but will definitely be worth our time.
Despite the short duration of the upcoming romance drama, this style of filming is said to have a high possibility of producing a second season!
Viewers are highly anticipating the onscreen romance of the fresh pairing actor Ji Chang Wook and actress Kim Ji Won. Both being very attractive and are really gifted in acting, based on their previous performances, they will surely be one promising visual couple in the romance series!
The script of "Love Laws of City Men and Women" will be a collective output of Jung Hyun Jung, who is known for his work in "Romance Is a Bonus Book" back in 2019 and scriptwriter Jung Da Yeon.
