South Korea is experiencing resurgence of COVID-19. Once again, the entertainment industry has been affected and industry movers have been confirmed to have been infected by the virus.
Actor Heo Dong Hwan, who is part of the support cast and recently worked on "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol", has been tested positive of COVID-19. According to reports, he is in close contact with actor Seo Sung Jong whom he probbaly got the virus.
On August 19, Seo Sung Jong was confirmed to be the first actor who was tested positive for COVID-19. Prior to that, he practiced with Heo Dong Hwan for the musical play "Jjampong" and with other cast as well.
Upon confirmation that Seo Sung Jong got infected, his manager and agency advised all members of the play whom the actor got in contact with. Huh Dong Hwan immediately went for testing and he was confirmed to be positive with the virus.
Heo Dong Hwan is being closely monitored by the doctors and was transferred to an isolation facility.
Heo Dong Hwan also had worked with other cast and members of the upcoming drama "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol", the production decided to suspend filming to have all the members in contact with the actor undergo coronavirus testing.
This also goes with KBS 2TV "To All The Guys That Loved Me" wherein the cast and crew stops all production activities to get members be tested for COVID-19.
The musical play "Jjampong" production team also advised to stop the play and refund the tickets instead. To ensure all the safety of the staff and stop the spread of the virus.
Ace Factory agency, realeased a statement confirming of actor Heo Dong Won's positive test results. The actor's manager also took the test and the result was negative.
The drama "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" is set to premeire on August 26, yet netizens wonder how will it affect the show with the unfortunate event to the actor and staff.
