Kim Won Hae, known for his role in the drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon", has been confirmed to have been infected by the virus.
According to reports, the actor himself confirmed the positive diagnosis through his statement. Following this, his agency announced it as well. Kim Won Hae is 51 years old, which he is needed to be closely monitored.
"It is confirmed that actor Kim Won hae has tested positive for Coronavirus. The actor was part of the cast member of the musical play "Jjambbong" wherein another cast member was confirmed to have the coronavirus. Although he was not part of the identified in contact with the infected person, he went into self-isolation and decided to take the test. However the results arrived and it was determined that Kim Won Hae tested positive. Immediately all his scheduled appointments were cancelled. The actor continued to self-isolate and will be transferred to the hospital once a space is available for him. His manager also took the test and the result was negative," said Double SG Company.
Kim Won Hae has worked with Seo Sung Jong who was the first actor tested positive for the virus. Furthermore, Heo Dong Won also was part of the cast in which the three actors are all now confirmed diagnosed with coronavirus.
In their hopes to stop the spread of the virus, two Korean dramas where Seo Sung Jong and Heo Dong Won are suspended. While the musical play team decided to stop the show where Kim Won Hae is part of the cast. All the staff that had been in contact with the three actors for the past days will undergo testing and monitoring.
