Here are more details with regards to the said case:
Way back September 27, 2019, Hook Entertainment first announced on their official Instagram account, stating that they have discovered some disrespectful behaviors of some "keyboard warriors" and malicious comments continually being thrown at Seung Gi, which is the company's valued artist. And it has reached the point where they cannot tolerate it any longer.
Then On September 26, the said agency shared that they have already transferred the collected information on the said "keyboard warriors" and abusive comments to the law firm APRO to file a complaint. They also emphasized that way back July 2016; they have gone through criminal proceedings in about 100 cases against those who disseminated nasty rumors about their valued artists. And most of those cases were successfully pushed through and some accused paid a fine of 500,000 won to under 1 million won, and all of them pled for clemency. However, none of them was mitigated, and all were punished as ruled.
We do hope that justice will be served to those who were wronged.
