Young rookies are in full force in the upcoming JTBC's new Monday and Tuesday drama, "18 Again". In characters as high school students, No Jeong-Ee, Ryeo Un, Choi Bomin, Hwang In Yeob, Oh So Hyun, and Lee Eun Jae are all up to show their youthful charms.
"18 Again", directed by Ha Byeong Hoon, is scheduled to premiere in September. It revolves around a story of a husband who returned to being 18 years old just before he gets a divorce. Director Byeong Hoon is known for his comedy drama "Confession Couple", raising expectations as the first drama he directs after moving to JTBC.
The group of young actors drew attention as they lead life as classmates in the second year of Serim high school. It's a refreshing start to give off their chemistry and charms into the series.
Interesting parts of characters will be No Jeong-Ee and Ryeo Un, who will portray as twin siblings of Jung Da Jung, played by Kim Ha Neul, with Hong Dae Young, played by Yoon Sang Hyun. Hong Shi Ah (No Jeong-Ee) is a ferocious student but when you get to know her, she is a caring and loving daughter.
Meanwhile, Hong Shi Woo (Ryeo Un) is a withdrawn student in school. He prefers to play alone and does not mingle with anyone. He then became the classmate of Hong Dae (Lee Do Hyun) when he turned into an 18-year-old student and they formed a unique friendship together.
On the other hand, the Golden Child member Choi Bomin, in character as Seo Ji-Ho, is a top model student of Serim high school and a childhood friend of the Hong siblings. Though he is aloof on the outside, he brings excitement with his honesty in everything he does with the group.
Another character to look forward to is Hwang In Yeob as Goo Ja Sung, the tall and handsome rebellious basketball captain in school. He will come face to face with Hong Dae Young (Lee Do Hyun) in court as they create friction and become confrontational with each other.
The young actors bring anticipated fun and excitement to the viewers as they cast together with chemistry that will bring light-hearted drama.
JTBC's "18 Again" is set to air on Monday and Tuesday time slots.
