There's a lot of K-drama scenes that are your favorites because you can never ever forget them, such as kissing scenes, wife and mistress' confrontation, girlfriend and the other woman creating a commotion, and of course, these unique and memorable slapping scenes!
What if an actor is being slapped using your favorite food? Perhaps, you wouldn't be able to help yourself think about the wasted grub, but it would be really fun and hilarious to see. Though conflict makes it climatic but using food as part of the slapping scene may build the tension and is quite funny at times.

Kimchi is one of the staple foods and traditional side dishes in Korea. Would you believe that in 2014, an episode became viral when an actor was slapped using none other than Kimchi? The ex-mother-in-law visited his ex-son-in-law for believing that he sabotaged her daughter's Kimchi business. The man made an unacceptable comment, well Kimchi is the best weapon to slap his undesirable behavior.
MBC's "Love of Eve" (2015)
Spaghetti is everyone's favorite! In this part of the drama, the cunning daughter-in-law pretends to cook lots of food for the visitors of her in-laws' house. But her hidden agenda was discovered by her mother-in-law, it never took long for the feast to be stopped when an entire plate of spaghetti was slapped on her face.
JTBC "Woman of Dignity" (2017)
Don't ever mess up with a married one or else slapping becomes more fun. The lead female character found out her husband is having an affair. As a wife, she never gets easy with the woman who plans to covet her husband, a plate of pasta noodles flies to the woman's face as part of her avenge.
SBS's "Happy Sisters" (2017)
Being honest is the best policy when it comes to your mother-in-law. In this scene the daughter-in-law lied to her mother-in-law about being pregnant with her grandchild. When the mother-in-law discovered it was all an act of lies, she used Korean bean paste and a roll of kimbap, making it a double slap. Double trouble isn't it!
KBS2 "Gracious Revenge" (2019)
A happy wife is a happy life! That should be a motto for any husband out there. But in this drama, an unhappy chaebol woman tries to get a divorce from her unworthy husband. He doesn't want to proceed with the divorce to ensure he still gets the affluent lifestyle. The husband makes a lot of schemes to delay the documents. When the wife discovered his actions, the wife used the hot crunchy chicken to slap his face.
