Newer fans of K-Dramas might know her from playing Park Bo Gum's adorable, hardworking and sassy mother in 'Record of Youth' but to Koreans and older fans of K-Drama, Ha Hee Ra is a mighty well-known name. Ha began her acting career in 1981 when she was in the sixth grade, appearing mostly in films for teenagers. In the 1990s, Ha became one of the top actresses in Korean television, along with Chae Shi-ra and Kim Hee-ae. Among her notable dramas include What Women Want (1990), What Is Love (1991), The Break of Dawn (1993), Catching Up with Gangnam Moms (2007) and The President (2010). She married actor Choi Soo-jong in November 1993 and obtained South Korean citizenship after their wedding. The couple has two children: son Min-seo and daughter Yoon-seo. She has over 19 grand awards under her belt including Daesang awards and Top Excellence awards, has acted in over five theatre productions, 33 Dramas and 13 films. Suffice to say; she's still one of the biggest and most successful actresses that Korean Television has ever seen. Her gorgeous radiating beauty too is unmatched.
