KBS 2TV's forthcoming drama "Hello? It's Me!" unveiled new stills from its previous script reading!
The drama "Hello? It's Me!" is a fantasy romantic comedy about a 37-year-old woman named Ban Ha Ni who will be played by actress Choi Kang Hee. She has become apathetic about love, her career, and dreams. One day, she is visited and comforted by her 17-year-old self played by Yi Rae, who was then passionate in almost everything that she did. She was then reminded of herself back when she had no fear in anything.
It was a good day for all the cast and production team during the script reading. All the attendees entered the venue with masks, following the safety protocols in fighting Covid-19. The venue is not crowded because the attendance was just limited for safety measures.
The actors present in the script reading were Kim Young Kwang, Choi Kang Hee, Yi Rae, Eum Moon Suk, Kim Yoo Mi, Ji Seung Hyun, Kim Yong Rim, Yoon Joo Sang, Baek Hyun Joo, Yoon Bok In, Shin Moon Sung, Kim Mi Hwa, Choi Dae Chul, Kim Do Yeon, Kim Ki Ri, Go Woo Ri, Choi Tae Hwan, Jung Dae Ro, Kang Tae Joo, Moon Sung Hyun, Kim Sang Woo, Song Ji Hyun, and Lee Seo Yeon.
One of the lead casts, Choi Kang Hee, happily expressed to the team that she feels honored to be working again with her co-stars. She also perfectly immersed herself into her role as Ban Ha Ni during the script reading, leaving a deep imprssion to her colleagues. Actor Kim Young Kwang will also appear again on the small screen with this drama. During the script reading, he made the people on set giggle with his portrayal as a neutral, second-generation chaebol named Han Yoo Hyun.
The 17-year-old Ban Ha Ni will be played by Yi Rae. Her colleagues acknowledged her for her stable acting despite her young age, since she's only fourteen years old. Eum Moon Suk also showed his passion on set while transforming into his role as the top star Ahn So Ni.
Veteran actress Kim Yong Rim will be playing as Lee Hong Nyun, the grandmother of Ban Ha Ni, who treasures her granddaughter the most, but she will have dementia. Yoon Joo Sang as Han Ji Man, the father of Han Yoo Hyun and the chairman of Joah Confectionery.
Kim Yoo Mi will be Oh Ji Eun, who has a past story with Ban Ha Ni, and Ji Seung Hyun will be having the character of Yang Do Yoon, the older cousin of Han Yoo Hyun, who also works at Joah Confectionery and is soon to be the successor of the said company.
Lee Hyun Suk, the producing director, shared, "I want to create a healthy atmosphere where the actors can arrive on set laughing enjoyably and will be living with a genuine smile. I will work hard to do a project that viewers can spend the winter warmly with."
Meanwhile, the scriptwriter of the drama Yoo Song Yi also expressed her gratitude towards the cast and crew. While first planning the story, she thinks it will be impossible for a 17-year-old self to meet her future self. She then shared that after meeting the actors, she became happier that all her imaginations have finally come to reality.
"Hello? It's Me!" is scheduled to air in 2021. Other details are yet to be announced to the public.
