In a magazine interview, Hyun Bin expressed his gratitude towards the success of his recent hit drama "Crash Landing on You."
For the January 2021 issue of lifestyle magazine Esquire Korea, prominent actor Hyun Bin was chosen to be on their next cover.
The 38-year-old actor recently took part in a photo shoot and interview with Esquire and started to share about his experiences from his previous drama "Crash Landing on You." He said that before he wanted to travel and visit the future to see the reactions of the audience towards the finale of the drama. And now, the future that he dreamt of has finally arrived.
Hyun Bin mentioned that he had been worrying a lot during the filming days, "To be honest, I had a lot of worries at that time. The filming for the drama was very tough, and there were days that I already wanted to fast forward the time."
He also shared that because of his fans he found out in the news articles that "Crash Landing on You" was still gaining a lot of viewers all across the globe. Hyun Bin honestly said that he regretted not being able to go overseas to visit and show his gratitude to international fans.
Meanwhile, because of the current situation he still managed to make efforts to show his love to his fans, "Everytime I receive offers from overseas, I make sure to respond with handwritten letters since I am unable to personally visit them."

Even though the drama "Crash Landing on You" had received so much success and recognition, Hyun Bin confessed that he never expected the success of any of his projects. He said, "In my previous films, I will only know the results after they premiere, for dramas I only see the reactions of the viewers after half of the episodes have aired."
Of course, in talking about the drama, Hyun Bin also shared his experience working with his onscreen partner Son Ye Jin, who also happened to be his co-star in the movie "The Negotiation."
He said that both of them were comfortable working with each other., given that the drama was their second time working together. Hyun Bin also shared that he and Son Ye Jin would talk to each other to bring up new ideas that they can do and rehearse before the scene finally starts.
Hyun Bin also complimented writer Park Ji Eun for creating a magnificent and interesting script, as well as for his co-stars who did a really great job in giving life in every scene.

Hyun Bin was asked about his personality, and he similarly compared himself to Captain Ri Jung Hyuk, his character in "Crash Landing on You," who falls in love with computer games. He added that if he is interested in something, he put himself wholeheartedly to it.
The actor also revealed that he is not the kind of person who makes friends easily, but sometimes he finds himself casually getting closer to his co-actors.
On the other hand, Hyun Bin was before known with his iconic roles in romantic comedy dramas, such as "My Lovely Sam Soon" and "Secret Garden," he shyly confessed that everytime he watches his performance in his past dramas, he gets embarrassed, but later on found improvements in the way he acts on screen.
"Crash Landing on You" star also shared his reflection on his filming experience in his upcoming film "The Pointed Man" that was filmed in Jordan.
It was the only movie that was able to shoot overseas since the start of the pandemic. Hyun Bin then clarified that all the cast and production staff were tested for the virus every two weeks and there were some restrictions in order to ensure a safe and smooth filming process.
Before the interview ends, Hyun Bin talks about working with actor Hwang Jung Min, where he said to have a strong desire and passion in creating a good movie, "If he had an idea or thoughts that will make the scene better, he will tell it to the department in charge and discuss it with them," he also added, "His energy and dedication for acting is truly amazing."
