This news will surely raise eyebrows among drama fans as confirming these two is causing such a fuzz.

Directed by Park Hong Soo, JTBC's upcoming drama "Human Disqualification" is scheduled to be aired in the second half of 2021. As they plan to start production at the soonest time possible.

Not only because of these two, but the master of Korean melodrama, Director Heo Jin Ho specifically chose this drama for the first time. Plus, the screenplay will be written by Kim Ji Hye, which genres are usually a combination of laughter and tears. No doubt the presence of Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol added to the hype making more and more fans get excited to get a glimpse of the drama.

"Human Disqualification" center the story about a forty-year-old woman and a twenty-seven-year-old who has a different outlook on life. Jeon Do Yeon will play the forty-year-old ghostwriter, Bu Jung. She eventually realized that her life as a ghostwriter made her life stagnant and felt empty like she has not achieved anything at all in her life. On the other hand, Ryu Jun Yeol will play as Kang-Ja. He is not afraid to do anything yet, but somehow thinks he might end up as a nobody.

We all last saw Jeon Do Yeon on the small screen for her role in the "Good wife." This internationally acclaimed actress will surely satisfy your hearts with her superb acting. Her role as Bu Jung is someone who has lost direction and ran out of reason to live. She eventually hit rock bottom making her feel anxious, empty, lonely, and frustrated. She dreamt of becoming a writer herself but felt unworthy to pursue it because of her current situation.

Take note that Jeon Do Yeon has proven her prowess as an actress when she won Best Actress at the 60th Cannes Film Festival. This is a great milestone for the actress as she is the first-ever Korean to win an award in such a prestigious film festival. Her portrayal of a mother's pain who lost her child won her the award.

Another noteworthy reason to watch this drama is actor Ryu Jun Yeol. His various style of acting will surely complete this melodrama as he plays Kang Jae, an agency service operator. Starting a low-level kind of job, he takes great risks to place himself out of poverty and dreams higher. As he dreamt of having a glamorous life he wandered and take a short cut to reach his dream but failed to do as he lost focus.


Along with his downhill journey, he meets Bu Jung. Their meet up will surely be dramatic yet rewarding as they will surely find meaning and be able to rise again. This will surely be a story about healing and appreciating life. Well of course it will make us laugh a little so as not to make the drama too overly dramatic yet, the storyline will certainly strike through our hearts.

Director Heo Jin Ho even stated that this will be a melodrama that will draw viewer's sympathy and will surely be delivered exquisitely by these two great actors. He added that he is grateful and thrilled to be working with them. He will try his very best to capture the story plot that has full of loneliness and infidelity along with Kang Jae's warm gaze.
