We are hoping that 2021 will be a much better year for all of us and for some of our favorite Korean actresses, this year will mark a very important chapter of their lives, they will be celebrating their 40th birthday this year! Yes, turning 30 years old is one big moment, however, being in their 30's they can still get away with a lot of things.
Now that they are entering their 40's, it means that their youthful years are already behind them. Most of the Korean actresses on our list have been in the industry for quite some time now and they have definitely achieved a lot of things as an actress or celebrity. But surely, they won't let their 40s stop them from continuing their success.
These Korean actresses are born in 1981 and they will enter their 40's this 2021. A lot of you may think that they are not young anymore but wait till you see their faces! Thanks to their ageless and everlasting beauty, plenty of us still think that they're still in their 30's or even in their late 20's!

Song Hye Kyo
Song Hye Kyo was born November 22, 1981. She became widely recognized for her portrayal as leading roles in hit television series namely, Autumn in My Heart (2000), All In (2003), Full House (2004), That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013), Descendants of the Sun (2016), and Encounter (2018). She also graced the big screen with projects namely Hwang Jin Yi (2007), The Grandmaster (2013), My Brilliant Life (2014), and The Queens (2015).
Jun Ji Hyun
Jun Ji Hyun is also famously known by her English name Gianna Jun. She was born on October 30, 1981. The actress and model became well known as the girl in the famous romantic comedy film My Sassy Girl (2001). This was one of the highest-grossing Korean comedies of all time.
Her other film projects include Il Mare (2000), Windstruck (2004), The Thieves (2012), The Berlin File (2013), and Assassination (2015). Jun Ji Hyun also graced our small screens through the television series My Love from the Star (2013-2014) and Legend of the Blue Sea (2016-2017). This drama series also became a massive hit overseas.
Jang Nara
South Korean singer and actress Jang Na Ra was born on March 18, 1981. The actress is widely recognized in both the South Korean and Chinese entertainment industries since 2001.
The celebrity rose to fame with her hit studio album Sweet Dream in 2002. Following this, she starred in numerous television series namely Successful Story of a Bright Girl (2002), My Love Patzzi (2002), Wedding (2005), My Bratty Princess (2005), Confession Couple (2017), The Last Empress (2018-2019), and VIP (2019).

Song Ji Hyo
Song Ji Hyo born was born on August 15, 1981. Before debuting as an actress in the entertainment industry, Song Ji Hyo was a cover model for Kiki Magazine. Her debut project was in the feature film Wishing Stairs (2003), the third installment in the Whispering Corridors film series. Then this was followed by her television debut in the romantic comedy Princess Hours (2006) and the historical Jumong (2006).
Her popularity rose with the film A Frozen Flower (2008), New World (2013), the TV series Emergency Couple (2014), her new hit Netflix drama Was It Love? (2020) and her first-ever film released after the start of the pandemic since March 2020 in South Korea, Intruder (2020).
Han Ye Seul
Han Ye Seul is an American-born actress and her birth date is September 18, 1981. She made her acting debut through the sitcom Nonstop 4 (2003). Since her acting debut, Han Ye Seul has since portrayed leading roles in various television dramas such as Couple or Trouble (2006), Tazza (2008), and Birth of a Beauty (2014). She also participated in the films Miss Gold Digger (2007) and Penny Pinchers (2011).
