New sets of fresh faces will be introduced in the upcoming Korean sitcom "So Not Worth It"!
Coming to Netflix this year is Korea's newest sitcom "So Not Worth It" starring Park Se Wan, Shin Hyun Seung, GOT7's Youngjae, (G)I-DLE's Minnie, and Han Hyun Min. The forthcoming show will tell the story of a multinational group of students who are currently living together in a university dorm in Seoul.
"So Not Worth It" Will Depict the Story of the Multinational Students Living in the same University Dorm in Seoul
This is one of the highly-anticipated Netflix shows this year, especially to the K-Pop fans. Members of some of their favorite groups will be joining the cast of the said sitcom, namely GOT7's main vocalist Youngjae and (G)I-DLE's main vocalist Minnie. This will be the first time that the fans will see their idols in a different project aside from performing during concerts and music shows.
Meanwhile, before the show aired its pilot episode, they first unveiled two sets of photos showing the kind of relationship that the main cast shared and a sneak peek at their journey in life as they are a group of individuals who came from different nationalities.
Get to Know the Cast of "So Not Worth It"
Actress Park Se Wan will star as Se Wan, an assistant teacher who is supervising the university dormitory. Actor Shin Hyun Seung is expected to portray the character of Jaime, a new student who came from America and will be introduced to live in the university's dormitory.
Gearing up for his debut as an actor, GOT7's Youngjae will be playing the role of Sam; he is the son of the president of a known tteokbokki food chain who grew up in Australia and went back to Seoul to pursue his studies. (G)I-DLE member Minnie will star as Minnie, a student from Thailand who loves to daydream about the Korean dramas she's been watching. Meanwhile, Han Hyun Min is Hyun Min, a Korean student and the only person who is not living in the dorm, making him commute for almost five hours every day just to go to school.
The director of Korean sitcoms such as "Nonstop" and "Three Guys and Three Girls" Kwon Ik Joon will be directing the show and joining him in the direction is Kim Jung Sik, who also worked on Korean sitcoms like "High Kick" and "Smashing on Your Back" will direct some episodes. Writers Seo Eun Jung and Baek Ji Hyunwill penned the script.

"So Not Worth It" will be available on Netflix and will kick off sometime this 2021.
