Currently, school bullying issues have been surfacing online and users post their school bullying experiences involving Korean celebrities. Another celebrity embroiled in serious school violence allegations is actress Choi Ye Bin.
Choi Ye Bin's School Bullying Rumors and Her Agency's Response to the Allegation
Previously on March 1, an online user posted his/her bad experience of school bullying in middle school from a rising actress in the entertainment industry. The online user is referring to actress Choi Ye Bin.
However, the post has since been deleted from the community. The anonymous accuser claimed that she attended the same middle school as Choi Ye Bin. She expressed that the "The Penthouse 2" star bullied her in middle school in the same way as the character she portrays in the ongoing hit drama.
Choi Ye Bin stars as Ha Eun Byeol, Cheo Seo Jin's troubled daughter in SBS' ongoing drama "The Penthouse." The accuser further claimed that Choi Ye Bin had already issued her apology by text during their third year of middle school, but they claimed that it was insincere since someone else had forced her to apologize.
Upon hearing the rumors, Choi Ye Bin's agency, J Wide Company, immediately came forward to clarify the issue and denied all the claims made by the anonymous accuser.
In their official statement, the agency sincerely apologized to the fans for causing them trouble for the unfortunate matter involving their actress Choi Ye Bin. Through their statement, they want to inform everyone about their position regarding this matter. The agency shared that after hearing the rumors, the first thing they did was discuss it with Choi Ye Bin to confirm if it is true. After a thorough investigation, they discovered that the truth was different from what the writer of the post had claimed.
J Wide Company further clarified that they interviewed common friends and acquaintances of the actress, and they unanimously agreed with Ye Bin's version as the truth. Additionally, the agency issued a warning to those who are posting malicious comments and those who thoughtlessly spread false content that they will be taking legal actions against them.

Choi Ye Bin Decided to Let go of the issue and Forgive the Person who Spread False Accusations
On March 4, actress Choi Ye Bin's management agency J.Wide Company confirmed that the actress has decided not to press charges against a former classmate who spread false news of school bullying online.
J.Wide Company shared that they just recently met up with the people who posted the false accusations, and they admitted that the post was untrue! The said post was already deleted, and the actress as well the agency decided not to take legal action against the accuser. Since this unfortunate matter occurred, the agency plans to consistently monitor online activities for any spread of malicious rumors.
