Kim Ji Soo to Enlist in the Military in October
On Friday, March 5, YTN reported that the K-drama star will be carrying his military service starting from October this year. After completing his four-week basic training, Kim Ji Soo will serve as a social service worker in the following weeks. Born in 1993, Ji Soo is currently 29-years-old in Korean age.

Back in 2016, the "Angry Mom" actor underwent surgery to cure his acute osteomyelitis. He received his military service warrant in December last year, ahead of his current controversy concerning his claimed school violence.
Kim Ji Soo Faces School Bullying Controversy
On March 2, a user in an online community claimed to be a former classmate of the Korean actor in middle school, particularly at Seorabeol Middle School from 2006 to 2008. The netizen asserted that Ji Soo is not only a perpetrator of school violence, but he was also a bully and a gangster.
This anonymous person also mentioned the harsh things that the "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" actor did during his middle school days.

The post of the alleged former classmate seemed to have given courage to other alleged victims of the Korean actor as two more netizens stepped forward and accused him of school bullying and sexual harassment. The second accuser claimed that Kim Ji Soo would physically hurt them and was the main perpetrator of countless cases of bullying and abuse in middle school.
Meanwhile, the third netizen alleged that the K-drama star made sexually harassing remarks towards his girlfriend at that time.
After the accusations against the Korean actor went viral, it has come to the attention of Ji Soo's management agency, KeyEast Entertainment.
In an official statement, the label said that they were investigating the situation. While the company is still in the process of looking into the issue, the Korean actor took the matter into his own hands. The "River Where the Moon Rises" actor wrote a letter and uploaded it to his personal Instagram account.
Through a handwritten letter, he admitted to the school bullying allegations against him. He also apologized to those who were hurt by his past actions, as well as to his fellow actors, drama staff, broadcasting agencies, and production crews.
Ji Soo Confirmed to be Removed from KBS's "River Where the Moon Rises"
After the Korean actor's admitted to school bullying, KBS canceled the filming of their ongoing drama "River Where the Moon Rises" on March 4 to discuss whether they would replace Ji Soo as the male lead.
After much deliberation, KBS has reached their final decision.

On March 5, Star News reported that KBS decided to drop Ji Soo as the main actor in the K-drama and that KBS is currently in talks with the production company regarding their next course of action. In addition, it is said that Na In Woo is in discussions as a replacement.
