In the newly released behind-the scenes video of "River Where the Moon Rises," cast members Kim So Hyun and Lee Ji Hoon were seen having a good time working with their co-actors and production staff.
Kim So Hyun Can't Hide Her Silliness While Filming
The video starts with Kim So Hyun being friendly with the cameraman. As she was being dolled up by her makeup artist, she was seen cracking jokes with her unnie, making both of them laugh.
In the following clip, the actress is in the scene where she gathered all the people in the palace to make an announcement. When the director was instructing her on what to do next, she couldn't help but to giggle because of the funny approach of the director.
Lee Ji Hoon Shows off Playful and Adorable Personality Far from His Character as Go Gun
Opposite to his character as an unspoken and reserved Go Gun, Lee Ji Hoon's true personality was seen in the BTS clip. While on a break, he playfully sneaked behind Kim Bup Rae who is playing the role of King Pyeongwon, and makes finger hearts while his co-actor is taking his rest.
He also played a prank by tapping Kim Bup Rae's shoulder and immediately sat down behind the throne where the King is sitting. Kim Bup Rae was curious about the man behind him, so when Lee Ji Hoon was about to sneak again, his co-actor caught him in the act.
Then, Lee Ji Hoon and Kim So Hyun were seen filming their scene. But before they started, Lee Ji Hoon told the director that he wanted to buy a lot of Pepero, but they were all sold out (it was Pepero Day in Korea, and part of the celebration is to give Pepero to your close friends).
The director said, "You should have given Kim So Hyun a box of Pepero," and Lee Ji Hoon responded that he did give her one.
The director then quipped, "Ah. So I was the only one you didn't give them to?" The actor laughed in response.
These were just some of the funny events happening behind the lens of KBS' ongoing series "River Where the Moon Rises." In spite of the crisis the show encountered a week ago, the cast and crew remain intact and determined to give their best.
Recalling, Lee Ji Hoon, Choi Yu Hwa, and Wang Bit Na agreed to re-shoot the scenes free of charge. It is their way of showing loyalty and dedication to the director and to their work.
Na In Woo also just joined the "River Where the Moon Rises" cast, and his participation left nothing but positive feedback from the viewers.
