"Real Estate Exorcism" Cast and Details

Directed by Park Jin-Seok, the occult drama follows the story of brokers who use exorcism on real estates that were reportedly haunted by ghosts and remove negative auras from properties where people have died.

Hong Ji-ah, played by Jang Nara, is the real estate broker and owner of Daebak Real Estate, who also happens to be the exorcist. She's working alongside con-artist Oh In Bum, portrayed by CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa, who uses the activity to profit and earn money.

Interestingly, their team-up would also solve the death of Hong Ji-ah's mother, way back 20 years ago.

Jang Nara and CNBLUE's Jung Yong-Hwa To Star in "Real Estate Exorcism"

In 2020, rumors sparked that the two received a proposal to lead the occult drama under the production company Monster Union.

"She has received an offer to appear in Daebak Real Estate and is considering it," a representative of the actress announced.

At the same time, FNC Entertainment mentioned on behalf of Jung that "It is one of the works that he is being proposed with, and we are currently discussing his possible participation."

Following this, a report confirmed earlier this year that the former singer turned actress, together with the 31-year-old Jung Yong Hwa, is set to star in "Real Estate Exorcism."

At the time, a source revealed that the upcoming series, also known as "Daebak Real Estate," is different from all the Korean dramas since it illustrates greed that revolves around properties.

"'Daebak Real Estate' is a unique everyday exorcism drama about the greed and conflict that arises when people compete over real estate. Please look forward to the thrilling, humane drama that will relieve the stress and frustration of the past year."

Aside from the duo, Kang Hong-Seok is also set to appear as Chief Heo, including Ahn Gil-Kang as Do Hak-Seong, who is the chairman of Dohak Construction.

Supporting actors also include Kang Mal-geum as Deputy director Joo and Heo Dong-won as Kim Tae-jin, Baek Eun-Hye, and Baek Ji-won.
