The upcoming SBS drama "Taxi Driver" releases a sneak peek of its lead star Lee Je Hoon as a unique hero!
'Taxi Driver' Short Synopsis
"Taxi Driver" stars talented actors, namely Lee Je Hoon, Esom, and Kim Eui-sung. It is a remake of the webtoon of the same name. The drama will tell the story of a mysterious taxi service named Rainbow Taxi. Aside from taking their customers to their destinations, they offer a special service that takes revenge on behalf of victims who are unable to get justice from the law.
Lee Joon will portray the character of Kim Do Gi. He is a former Special Forces officer who graduated from the Naval Academy. He now works as a driver for the mysterious taxi service called Rainbow Taxi. His mother was unfortunately killed by a serial killer, and his life changed afterward.
Rainbow Taxi has a "revenge-call" option and if clients ask them to take revenge, Kim Do-Ki and his co-workers will perform the task that the client asks.

A Sneak Peek of Lee Je Hoon as a Unique Superhero in 'Taxi Driver'
In the newly released stills for the upcoming drama, Lee Je Hoon easily transforms into his character as Kim Do Gi. He's a special hero that takes justice into his own hands in his unique ways. He chases the bad guys and when he gets hold of them, he punishes them in ways that the law could not.
Kim Do Gi possesses undeniable charisma and he has great driving and fighting skills. He is stronger than he looks and can take down multiple opponents. Kim Do Gi will use his special camouflage technique to take down his targets. Kim Do Gi is undoubtedly another character that we would look forward to seeing very soon!
"Taxi Driver" is scheduled to premiere on April 9.
Here are More Facts about Lee Je Hoon
South Korean actor Lee Je Hoon was born July 4, 1984. The 36-year-old actor started his career in the entertainment industry in indie films. Following this, he went on to participate in commercial films like "The Front Line" (2011), "Architecture 101" (2012), and "My Paparotti" (2013). Lee Je Hoon also appeared in numerous television series such as "Fashion King" (2012), "Secret Door" (2014), "Signal" (2016), "Tomorrow, With You" (2017), and "Where Stars Land" (2018).
Lee Je Hoon was studying at Korea University, taking up a Biotechnology major when he realized that he wanted to pursue a career as an actor. He eventually transferred to the School of Drama at Korea National University of Arts.
From the year 2006 to 2010, Lee Ji Hoon participated in more than 18 student shorts and indie films such as the queer coming-of-age romance "Just Friends?". The actor also appeared as an extra in a number of commercial films, including erotic thriller The Servant and romantic comedy Finding Mr. Destiny.
Fast forward to the year 2020, Lee Je Hoon starred in the dystopian action thriller film titled "Time to Hunt". Through this film, he earned a nomination for Best Actor at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.
