"Penthouse 2" remains the most-watched evening drama as it continues to be the highest rating program. Directed by Joo Dong-Min, the ongoing drama sustains its reign alongside the powerhouse casts members Eugene, Kim So Yeon, Yoon Jong Hoon, Choi Ye Bin, and more.

"Penthouse 2" Scores 20.8 Percent for Nationwide Rating

In a new report, Nielsen Korea cited that the last episode of the hit SBS drama reached an average nationwide rating of 20.8 percent, while the tv show scored 23.6 percent for its two parts.

On the other hand, while the ongoing drama series proves to be the leading show with its high ratings, the media research company noted that it had been consistently performing well in terms of viewer demographic.

It shows that "The Penthouse 2" scored an average rating of 10.3 percent with viewers ages 20 to 49.

Aside from being the most-watched show, the SBS drama is said to be the most-watched program to air on any channel on the same time slot, as they dominate the Friday and Saturday night programs.

Top Three Episode that Scored the Highest Rating

Since the second season's debut last February 19, "Penthouse 2" became the most talked-about show as it continues to reign its supremacy over the small screen with its intense plot that features revenge, ambition, greed, and the character's goal to protect their family, especially their children.

This makes "Penthouse 2" gain higher ratings every single week. With this, the SBS drama's episode six earned a score of 27.9 percent after Lee Ji-Ah's character came to life.

According to Nielsen Korea, this is said to be the highest rating for the second season despite receiving criticism over sensational and violent plot.

It came after the 43-year-old actress, who played the role of Na Ae-Gyo, showed an uncanny resemblance to Shim Soo Ryeon.

Following the sixth episode, the SBS drama slightly dropped its viewership rating but managed to maintain its rating at the top spot since its premiere.

In a report, "Penthouse 2" Episode 8 received 26.8 percent. The story follows the conversation between Joo Dan Tae, played by Uhm Ki-Joon, as he aimed his gun at Na Ae Gyo as he asked her about being betrayed in the past.

Fortunately, she was saved by Logan Lee, portrayed by Park Eun Suk.
