"Youth of May" actor Lee Do Hyun will reportedly appear in a new drama, titled "Melancholia."
Lee Do Hyun to Appear Opposite Im Soo Jung
In a recent report, the 25-year-old actor's agency Yuehwa Entertainment Korea revealed that he is being courted to lead the upcoming series and might end up "considering" the offer.

"Lee Do Hyun received an offer to appear in 'Melancholia' and is considering it," his agency stated.
If the "Sweet Home" star officially accepts the role, he will appear alongside Im Soo Jung, who is "positively discussing the appearance" as cited by her agency, King Kong by Starship.
"Melancholia" Cast and Synopsis
"Melancholia" follows the story of a student and teacher at a prestigious private high school at Gangnam that are caught up in a scandal.
Lee Do Hyun is set to portray the role of the educator named Baek Seung Yoo, who was described as an introvert and aloof to people during his high school years.
With his intelligence, he was able to ace a math quiz program at the age of five and managed to enter MIT at 10.
Despite his ability, he dropped out of high school and chose to spend his time alone taking photos using his DSLR.
Interestingly, his life changed when he met the high school math teacher, played by Im Soo Jung, who was involved in a series of unfortunate events with the now 22-year-old Baek Seung.
Lee Do Hyun on "Youth of May" and "Beyond Evil"
After his acting debut in 2017's Prison Playbook, he received popularity with his breakthrough role as a supporting actor in the 2019 dark fantasy drama "Hotel del Luna" and his first lead role in the JTBC series "18 Again."
Slowly making a name for himself in the entertainment industry, he joined the cast of the hit Netflix apocalyptic horror series "Sweet Home," alongside Song Kang.
Now, 2021 might be a busy year for Lee Do Hyun as he is set to appear in several dramas.
One of his latest projects is the coming of age drama, "Youth of May," together with Lee Sang Yi, Geum Sae Rok, and "Sweet Home" co-star Go Min-Si.
Set to debut on May 3, under the direction of Song Min Yeop and written by Lee Kang, the forthcoming KBS series was described as a retro-themed melodrama that follows the lives of two young people under the 1980 Gwangju Uprising.
Last March 17, the whole cast and team of the upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama gathered once again as they appeared at their first table read.
According to multiple reports, the "Youth of May" cast members created a good atmosphere while the director gave his two cents.
At the time, Song Min Yeop assured the viewers that their team would "capture the love and youth stories" that the genre is trying to perceive and urge fans and viewers to support their new drama.
Aside from "Youth of May" and "Melancholia," Lee Do Hyun made a surprise appearance in the psychological thriller series "Beyond Evil," where he portrayed the role of the young Lee Dong Shik (Shin Ha Kyun), who appears to be in his late twenties.
