Princess Pyeonggang (Kim So Hyun) realizes who the real enemies can be. The people she trusts can be the ones who will stab her in the back.
After the incident in the palace, involving the king and the crown prince, Princess Pyeonggang couldn't calm herself and became wary of the people in the palace. She decided not to trust anyone.

Kim So Hyun Turns into an Authoritative Princess to Protect Her People
In order to save the king from the throne and to ensure the safety of the palace, Princess Pyeonggang started to show her authoritative side and warned the people to be more careful of their actions while they are still in the palace.
Meanwhile, On Dal (Na In Woo) admires his wife for being brave and working nonstop to fulfill her duties as a princess. She is also doing more beyond her work.
But apart from his admiration to Pyeonggang, On Dal feels uneasy seeing his woman being aggressive to punish the evil. He fears that Pyeonggang might get hurt for protecting others.
General Go Gun and Lady Hae Mo Yong Team up to Destroy the Palace
After knowing each other, General Go Gun (Lee Ji Hoon) and Lady Hae Mo Yong (Choi Yu Hwa) formed a partnership to overthrow the king of Goguryeo.
When Hae Mo Yong was confronted by Pyeonggang for being unfaithful to her, Go Gun immediately walked in and protected the lady in front of the princess. The general confessed that he knew more about Hae Mo Yong than the princess, making Pyeonggang think that there is something happening behind her back.

Go Gun is determined to take over the throne, alongside his father Go Won Pyo (Lee Hae Young). Because of his father's influence, Go Gun started to follow his commands. This is the only way for him to get his revenge for all the loyalty and love he had given to the princess, unreciprocated.
Princess Pyeonggang's previous precious friend has now become one of her enemies.
Meanwhile, the princess realized that she has been busy taking care of others and forgot to spend time with her husband. She decided to take On Dal on a simple date outside the palace.
The two enjoyed their time together and went shopping, until Pyeonggang saw a familiar face and felt anxious that something bad might've happened in the palace.
