Korean dramas "Navillera" and "River Where The Moon Rises," which both air every Monday and Tuesday, have seen drops in viewership ratings this week.

On April 6, "River Where The Moon Rises" Episode 16 and "Navillera" Episode 6 were broadcasted. According to Nielsen Korea, the viewership ratings of both dramas showed declines for the latest episodes. A Korean media outlet speculated that it might be because of the competition between shows at night.

Why Did The Viewership Ratings Drop This Week for "Navillera" and "River Where The Moon Rises"?

One Korean media outlet presumed that the decline in ratings of "Rise Where The Moon Rises" and "Navillera" this week might be due to the competition between the drams and well-known variety shows that air every Monday night.

These programs include KBS's "Gayo Stage," "MBC's "Buddy into the Wild," SBS's "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny," and JTBC's new show "Nice Alone."

The media outlet also noted that the competition for daily drama ratings is also heating up. One of the dramas that saw an increase in ratings is KBS's "Be My Dream Family," which is broadcast every night from Monday to Friday. The "Be My Dream Family" Episode 6 recorded 17.8 percent, which is 1.5 percent higher than the viewership ratings for Episode 5.
