Sigma's Fate Changed

At the church, the former CEO and Gang Seo-Hae (Park Shin-Hye) were surrounded by his men.
During his conversation with Han Tae-Sul, Sigma believes that he has won again as he points his gun at them and instructs him to continue with the coding.
Han Tae-Sul refused to bow down to his request. He then looked at Gang Seo-Hae and told him to trust him no matter what. It appears that Sigma is getting impatient with Han Tae-Sul. He starts counting as he points the gun at Gang Seo-Hae.
Surprisingly, Han Tae-Sul starts asking Sigma personal questions about his past. He then became suspicious of him until he saw him flickering right in front of him.
At the time, the former Quantum and Time boss tells Sigma that the future is changing and he is going to win this time.
Moreover, he also mentioned that he is going to receive a call, which he did.
After the call, Sigma starts to flicker. He then instructed his men to shoot the two, but they disappeared.
This time, Han Tae-Sul and Gang Seo-Hae get the upper hand against Sigma after the two witnessed that he was gunned down by a sniper.
With Sigma's death, Han Tae-Sul told Gang Seo-Hae that he needs to finish the Uploader to change the present.
They went to the Quantum and Time office where the Uploader was set up. Mr. Park and his men, including her daughter, arrived to help the two get to the present.
Eddie Kim Becomes the New Villain
Surprisingly, "Sisyphus: the Myth" episode 16 showed how Eddie Kim (Tae In-Ho) was consumed by his hatred and envy with Han Tae-Sul.
It was his friend who shot Gang Seo-Hae at the church instead of Sigma.
Moreover, it was his best friend who instructed him to complete the Uploader, or he'll kill the girl.
Eddie Kim also expressed how tired he is for sorting out all his messes and pointed out that he ruined his life by coming in between Seo-Jin and him.
In addition, he was the one who asked Han Tae-Sul the question, "Is it the girl or the world?"
To save Gang Seo-Hae and the world, Han Tae-Sul was forced to make the toughest decision.
He told her to find him in the future as he pointed the gun at his head and killed himself.
After the heartbreaking scene, "Sisyphus: the Myth" episode 16 also showed that the war has never occurred as it flashbacked to the present day, showing the young Gang Seo-Hae with his mother.
