Park Hyung Sik is Courted to Join Han Hyo Joo in New Drama "Happiness"
According to a media report on April 15, idol-turned-actor Park Hyung Sik is being courted to be part of tvN's upcoming drama "Happiness."
On the same day, a legit source from Park Hyung Sik's home agency United Artists Agency confirmed that their actor is positively reviewing the drama offer.
If the 29-year-old accepts the role, he will portray the smart and charismatic character of Jung Yi Hyun, a violent crimes detective. He is a rising baseball player in high school, but due to an injury, he was forced to quit the sport that was very close to his heart.
After the incident, Jung Yi Hyun decided to start a new life and pursue a career as a police officer.

Previously, "W: Two Worlds" actress Han Hyo Joo was offered to star as the female protagonist named Yoon Sae Boom.
Meanwhile, "Chicago Typewriter" actor Jo Woo Jin was also courted to play commander Han Tae Suk of the Armed Forces Medical Command. Jo Woo Jin's possible role is someone who is an information agent while he was still serving in the military, an individual who has the capabilities to discuss and deal with infectious disease.
Han Tae Suk is a well-rounded character who also has experience at a pharmaceutical company.

tvN's newest thriller series, "Happiness," will occur in a time when infectious diseases have become a new normal on earth - a relevant story depicting the situation that most people currently experience due to the pandemic.
Producing director Ahn Gil Ho and writer Han Sang Woon will be teaming up for this forthcoming project. It has been said that the two already worked together in the drama "Watcher."
Studio Dragon, who produced top-tier content, such as "Vincenzo," "Navillera," and "Love Alarm 2," will also be in charge of "Happiness."

If actor Park Hyung Sik accepts the project offer, this marks his first-ever drama after being discharged from the military.
