Gold Management Entertainment Defends Seo Ye Ji

In the wake of the issue, it was only her agency, Gold Management Entertainment, who gave their position and spoke about Seo Ye Ji's allegations.

At the time, they denied that Kim Jung Hyun's action was because of their artist, claiming that the text messages released by Dispatch were "a common love quarrel between an actor and actress who are in a relationship while also working in the same industry."

The management also apologized for the "damage" that caused her upcoming movie "Recalled," which caused her to cancel her appearance for its press conference.

To recall, the "Save Me" actress is no show at the premiere, and it was only her co-star Kim Kang Woo and director Seo Yoo Min who attended the said event.

Aside from canceling her appearance in "Recalled," the actress also withdrew to star in the forthcoming OCN drama, "Island" where she is set to play the role of a chaebol heiress who visits the island in hopes to turn it into a profitable property but ends up encountering mysterious creatures.

Moreover, a South Korea-based outlet revealed that the actress dropped out from the project due to "personal reasons."

Following this, the production company shared that they have no choice but to replace the 31-year-old actress from the movie after being involved in a ton of negative publicity.
