However, Vincenzo was faking after all! When one of the Interpol guys came to check whether he is still breathing, the man of the hour quickly grabbed the authority's gun and pointed it at him - spurring all the crazy events for this 3rd episode to the Season Finale (Watch it because we won't say much). You should know though that Vincenzo certainly did not take lightly to the fact that Han Seo betrayed him, so he shot him and landed him in a hospital.
"Vincenzo" Episode 18 Ending, Fans' Reviews
"Vincenzo" Episode 18, as opposed to episode 17, ended on a high note, showing the main character truly back to his A-game. Vincenzo already left for Italy to save his family for two weeks. He was seen off by his officemates (quite tearjerking to see Mr. Nam cry) and Hong Cha-young almost confessing some romantic feelings - although she shared some deep quote about being friends and asking Vincenzo not to get hurt in Italy instead.
In the plane, Vincenzo looks as if he has second thoughts of leaving.
He might have changed his mind because, in the next scene, he's back and saving Hong Cha-young and Seo Mi Ri from a bunch of thugs in suits. This is how the episode ended.
Again, "Vincenzo" Episode 18 aimed to please and it did. Social media platforms such as Twitter had fans gushing about the episode, applauding how it ended on a nice note when it started out so dark.
The Road to Season Finale and "Vincenzo" Season 2
How the last two episodes of "Vincenzo" will unfold remain to be seen, but we certainly cannot wait for next week.
Meanwhile, given all the positive reception to this series, there is now speculation that a second season just might happen. While there is certainly a demand for it worldwide, Netflix is yet to make an announcement.
