To recall, the 73-year-old actress had the sweetest reaction when she met the "Moneyball" actor.

Upon calling her name as the winner for Best Supporting Actress at the 93rd Academy Awards, Youn Yuh Jung's speech starts by shooting her luck with the A-lister.

Youn Yuh Jung Not Into the Glitz and Glam of Hollywood

During the interview, the Oscar winner shared that she can relate to her role in "Minari" since both of her sons, who are Korean American, live in the United States.

Moreover, the veteran actress set the record straight regarding her thoughts about entering Hollywood.

"When some project comes from America, people in Korea think I admire Hollywood. No, I don't admire Hollywood," she explained.

In addition, she revealed why she kept on coming back to the U.S, and it's not because of the career opportunity but due to her family.

"The reason I keep coming is because if I come to the States and work, maybe I'm able to see my son one more time. That's from the bottom of my heart."

The whole of South Korea lauded Youn Yuh Jung's Oscar moment for being the first Korean to ever win at the prestigious award-winning body.

Moreover, she is the second Asian actress to take home the award following a six-decade gap with Japanese-born Miyoshi Umeki, who scored a trophy for the 1957 film "Sayonara."

In a previous chat with Forbes, the 73-year-old says that she's not interested in competition "especially between actors."

She explained that they portray "different roles for different movies," and it's hard to compare which is the best among them.

For her, all five of them are considered winners and believe that everyone "did a brilliant job."

Youn Yuh Jung's Oscar win surpassed some of the biggest names in the industry.

Her fellow Best Supporting Actress nominees are the three-time Golden Globe winner Glenn Close for her role in Hillbilly Elegy, followed by British actress Olivia Coleman for "The Father," Amanda Seyfried for "Mank" and lastly, Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova in "Borat Subsequent Movie Film."
