"From Now On, Showtime!" is Park Hae Jin's Drama Comeback
According to a media report on May 3, the "My Love From the Star" actor is confirmed to be playing the lead role in the forthcoming romantic-comedy series "From Now On, Showtime!"
Following his drama "Kkondae Intern" in 2020, Park Hae Jin is about to make his much-awaited return. The series will revolve around the characters who will work hand-in-hand with ghosts.
Park Hae Jin is expected to play the role of Cha Cha Woong, an employer and a magician who knows how to handle and manage wandering spirits. He will meet a strange female police officer with witchcraft powers.
The two are destined to solve a case that they coincidentally encountered and the easiest way to resolve it is to cooperate with ghosts to uncover various clues.

Aside from being a charismatic magician, Cha Cha Woong is also known for being sarcastic and straightforward. His scathing remarks are even colder than his frigid appearance.
With his extraordinary and excellent magic skills, Cha Cha Woong performs on various shows such as live broadcast and live stages. Due to his outstanding work, he was hailed as the rising super star in the world of magicians.
As a professional magician, Cha Cha Wong also has the secret ability to see and have a conversation with ghosts.
Park Hae Jin's new character is said to break the stereotype in previous K-dramas roles who have been scared of seeing ghosts.
Meanwhile, there is no confirmation yet who will be playing the character of the female lead. The broadcast station that will handle the drama is still in discussion.
"From Now On, Showtime!" is expected to start filming in the last week of August.
