Korean drama "Taxi Driver" starring Lee Je Hoon and Esom continues to soar in viewership rating.

According to Nielsen Korea, the SBS drama hits an all-time high of 16 percent in the metropolitan area while 14.7 percent nationwide, making an overall figure of 16.9 percent.

This is a slight increase from their previous episode, garnering 15.9 percent and 15.2 percent nationwide. With this "Taxi Driver," episode 9 sets a spontaneous highest rating that the drama has achieved.

"Taxi Driver" Episode 9 Recap:Kang Ha Na Gets Suspicious Over Kim Do Ki

Now that the crime drama is almost on its half part, Kim Do Ki's true identity, played by Lee Je Hoon, is slowly being uncovered by prosecutor Kang Ha Na, portrayed by Esom. The Rainbow Taxi team has once again completed another successful mission by setting the storage of U-Data mine on fire containing illegal pornographic videos.

Unfortunately, people at the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office suspects that he is involved in the U-Data explosion after Do Ki's company ID was found at the crime scene by Kang Ha Na's boss, Jo Jin-Woo (Yoo Seung Mok.) After her press conference regarding the case, Prosecutor Kang Ha Na believes that someone is intervening in their case.

All her speculation leads to Kim Do Ki. With this, the feisty prosecutor starts investigating the taxi driver turned U-Data employee and visited his house. He asked him about his car, claiming that he only drove one unit; however, Kang ha Na saw two car keys.

This prompted her to ask investigator Hwang (Lee Yoo Joon) to run a call history check on Do Ki and found suspicious points that raised a sense of crisis.

CEO Jang's Near-Death Experience

"Taxi Driver" episode 9 also featured the Blue Bird and Rainbow Taxi boss Jang Sung Chul (Kim Eui Sung) being beaten by Jo Du Chul (Jo Suk Hyun) as a form of his revenge after being held captive by the Paradise Credit team.

After learning about CEO Jang's incident, Kim Do Ki barged into Baek Sung-Mi's office (Cha Ji Yeon) and warned her not to put Jang Sung Chul in the same situation again.

Rainbow Taxi Team's Target: Voice Phishing Criminal Organization

At the hospital where Jang Sung Chul was admitted, the group presented a case involving their fellow teammate Choi Kyung Goo (Jang Hyuk Jin), who was victimized by a phishing scam.

He shared how he witnessed several people losing their fortune and hard-earned money after being scammed by a ruthless organization. The team received CEO Jang's blessing that they may proceed with the new target.

Kim Do Ki as a Wealthy Businessman

For this task, Kim Do Ki is disguised as a wealthy Harbin-based entrepreneur named Mr. Wang, who will be wowing everyone with his dazzling appearance.

Do Ki will be working alongside Park Jin Eon (Bae Yoo Ram), who will act as Lee Ja Sung, an undercover in the organization.

The duo is set to infiltrate an illegal gambling house run by Mrs. Lim, who is said to be the leader of a voice phishing organization.
