‘Vincenzo’ Actor Kim Young Woong Reveals Why He Couldn’t Concentrate on Acting in Front of Song Joong Ki

Even after tvN's top-rating series "Vincenzo" finally closed its curtains last May 2, viewers and even its main cast seem to be unable to move on. In fact, one of the cast members recently participated in an interview and revealed what it was like working with the one who gave life to Vincenzo Cassano - Song Joong Ki.

Kim Young Woong Fanboys over "Vincenzo" Co-Actor Song Joong Ki

Kim Young Woong, who starred as the Bye Bye Balloon CEO Park Seok Do, made an appearance in MBC Every1's "Video Star" on May 11 and shared some stories about his experiences of being part the well-received drama.

He pointed out his work experience with the "Descendants of the Sun" star, and even praised him for being such a professional actor.

According to him, "Song Joong Ki is very good at acting and indeed very handsome."

He confessed that he forgot his lines because he was absorbed in Song Joong Ki's visuals and acting, "There were times that I was captivated in his acting and his natural handsome looks that I even forgot my lines."

As he continued sharing, the host and other members of the show were also happy hearing beautiful and funny accounts from actor Kim Young Woong.

The "Vincenzo" actor said, "I think Song Joong Ki is too much because he is so distracting on the set and breaks the momentum," which made everyone on the show burst out laughing.

Kim Young Woog's character started as an antagonist, but as the story progressed, he underwent a massive character development. His comic and entertaining aura made every scene worth watching, along with the other cast members.

Song Joong Ki is Good in Making Ad-Libs According to Kim Young Woong

The 50-year-old actor also commended Song Joong Ki for being humorous and sharp-witted during their shoot. Because he was quick to respond instantly to all the improv acting he did on set.

Kim Young Woong stated, "He is so fast and is able to respond back to all the ad-libs."

He also revealed that the iconic scene where Park Seok Do wanted to ask "Vincenzo" if he can call him hyung was an ad-lib.

The line "Can you call me Hyung?" was an improv act from Kim Young Woong, but Song Joong Ki flawlessly and humorously responded with another ad-lib saying, "Hyung my foot, I am about to hit you!"
