Lee Do Hyun is set to take distinct participation in the much-awaited Baeksang Arts Awards 2021.
The day has come for the artist as well as their fans to see who will take home the prestigious trophy.
Scheduled on May 13, which will occur at Ilsanseo-gu, Gyeonggi Province, this year's award ceremony is hosted by comedian Shin Dong Yup alongside the 6-time Baeksang MC, Bae Suzy.
Lee Do Hyun Joins Choi Baek Ho in a "Special Stage" at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards
Interestingly, another surprising news has been revealed ahead of Baeksang Arts Awards 2021.
It came after multiple outlets cited that the "Youth of May" star will present a "special stage" together with the veteran singer Choi Baek Ho.
This was announced by the actor's agency, YueHua Entertainment, adding that "all generations can sympathize together at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards."
Furthermore, the 71-year-old singer is posed as the "adult representative" while the "Sweet Home" actor will act as the "youth representative."
The organizers and officials of the award-giving body believe that the duo would portray the theme of "To You Who Overcome Winter" that aims to comfort people during their most difficult times, especially with the health crisis.
Back in the previous ceremonies, celebrities and rising stars also took part in a special stage presentation.
In the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards, "Reply 1988" star Ryu Jun Yeol was able to ace the special presentation followed by South Korean heartthrob Park Bo Gum in 2020.

Lee Do Hyun's Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 Nomination
Besides his memorable role in the ceremony, Lee Do Hyun was also nominated at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.
The 26-year-old actor was among the nominees for Best New Actor in TV following his astounding performance in the JTBC drama "18 Again."
He will be competing against his "Sweet Home" co-star Song Kang, as well as Kim Young Dae of "The Penthouse," Na In Woo for KBS 2TV's "River Where the Moon Rises" and lastly, Nam Yoon Su for Netflix's "Extracurricular."
Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 Presenters
Prior to the announcement about Lee Do Hyun and Choi Baek Ho, the ceremony officials revealed the list of presenters.
It comprises previous Baeksang Arts winners and some of the industry's rising stars.
Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 presenters include the Oscar-winning director Bong Joon Ho, veteran actress Kim Hee Ae, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kang Ha Neul, and more.
Moreover, the grand award will be presented by former beauty queen turned actress Go Hyun Jung.
Kim Seon Ho and Seo Ye Ji Voted as Number 1 for Tiktok Popularity Award
Although there was no formal announcement yet, it's most likely that Kim Seon Ho and Seo Ye Ji will take home Baeksang's TikTok Popularity Award after garnering a significant number of votes.
The "Start-Up" actor received a staggering 1.3 million votes, while the "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" actress received 789,170 votes.
