Korean drama "Taxi Driver" is serving all the best for the second half of the top-rating series.
The SBS Friday and Saturday evening drama is set to introduce a roster of new characters for its next episode.
In a new report cited by a Korean publication, rumors sparked that Ryu Hyun Kyung, Park Jin Hee, and Park Geun Hyung will have a special appearance in "Taxi Driver" alongside Lee Je Hoon.
Park Geun Hyung to Appear in "Taxi Driver" Episode 13
The veteran actor, who is also in "Undercover," has wrapped up his shooting with the SBS drama and will be featured on episode 13.
He will portray the husband of Paradise Credits godmother Baek Sung Mi, played by Cha Ji Yeon.
Interestingly, the mystery crime drama will uncover the early days of the wicked and uptight lady boss and how she got the title of "godmother."
To recall "Taxi Driver" episode 12 showed how the Paradise Credits CEO betrayed the Rainbow Taxi team headed by Jang Sung Chul (Kim Eui Sung.)
The latest episode also revealed that the illegal organ trading and the brutal murder of Investigator Wang Min Ho (Lee Yoo Joon) were all planned by the female gang leader.

Ryu Hyun Kyung and Park Jin Hee to Film their Cameo in K-Drama "Taxi Driver"
Following the upcoming appearance of Park Geun Hyung, actresses Ryu Hyun Kyung and Park Jin Hee are also expected to surprise viewers with their cameo.
The 38-year-old actress and the "Doctor Detective" star will appear in episode 16, which is also the season finale of the hit drama.
As of this writing, Ryu Hyun Kyung and Park Jin Hee's role is still uncertain but would definitely play a significant character in "Taxi Driver."
"Taxi Driver" Viewership Rating and Change in Scriptwriter
Amid the revelation regarding the special cameos, the SBS evening drama has been receiving a favorable response from the audience with increasing viewership ratings.
Based on the data by Nielsen Korea, the "Taxi Driver" rating continues to exceed 15 percent of viewership and is among the most talked-about evening programs.
This is despite the sudden change in scriptwriters after Oh Sang Ho dropped out from the show.
In a recent report, the production team mentioned that it was a mutual agreement between the screenwriter and the drama.
Moreover, the official statement also includes the reason behind the original writer's decision to step down from "Taxi Driver."
"The writer Oh Sang-ho has agreed to drop out of the company due to differences in views on the direction of the work between the writer and the director," the statement reads.
With this, writer Lee Ji Hyun continued the role from episode 11 to the program's finale.
