Lee Tae Bin revealed surprising details about his character in the top-rating K-drama "Penthouse: War in Life."
The 25-year-old actor gained massive popularity after joining the hit SBS drama, where he played the role of Bong Tae Kyu and Yoon Joo Hee's only son, Lee Min Hyuk.
Lee Tae Bin's "Penthouse" Role was Supposed to be Gay
During his recent appearance in MBC every1 talk show "Video Star!" the former MYTEEN member spoke about the original script of "Penthouse."
Apparently, his role was initially meant to be gay and supposed to be in love with Joo Seok Hoon, played by Kim Young Dae.
"I'm revealing this for the first time today," he mentioned, explaining what led his character to hate Bae Ro Na (Kim Hyun Soo) even more. "
"Since Min Hyuk liked Seok Hoon, and Seok Hoon liked Ro Na, Min Hyuk was about to be even more driven to bully Ro Na. But in reality, the person Min Hyuk had eyes on was Seok Hoon."
Obviously, the original script did not make the final cut as Lee Min Hyuk is Yoo Je Ni's, played by Jin Ji Hee, love interest.
To recall, Joo Seok Hoon is entangled in a complicated love triangle between Bae Ro Na and Ha Eun Byul, portrayed by Choi Ye Bin; however, his feelings for Ro Na caused heartache and bitterness on Eun Byul.

As for "Penthouse 3" spoilers, the variety show hosts tried to persuade the 25-year-old actor to spill the details for the upcoming season, especially with Logan Lee's fate, played by Park Eun Seok.
Lee Tae Bin kept tight-lipped about the show's future episode but hinted that the new season would showcase more intense and surprising scenes than the previous.
Moreover, the actor shared that he was shocked when he got the script, revealing that it the highly anticipated season will beat "Penthouse" 1 and 2.

With the top rating drama now on its third installment, the rapper-turned-actor revealed his memorable moment in "Penthouse."
During the interview, Lee Tae Bin shared that it was a scene from the first season with Min Seol Ah, played by Jo Soo Min.
Upon reading the script, he mentioned that his mind went blank since the scene involved torturing Min Seol Ah by wrecking her car and setting it on fire.
At the time, he asked himself how he would portray and give justice to the role.
To shake things off, he confessed that he drank a can of beer prior to the shoot adding "it easier for me to film the scene and put my emotions into it."
"Penthouse 3" Release Date and Details
The much-awaited season of "Penthouse: War in Life" started its filming last April 27 and is scheduled to release its first episode on June 4.
Unlike the previous seasons, "Penthouse 3" will only air on once a week--every Fridays.
