Following the successful release of the much-awaited K-sitcom "So Not Worth It," GOT7's Youngjae received a ton of praise due to his acting skills.
The 24-year old K-pop star, whose real name is Choi Young Jae, portrayed the role of Sam, the Korean-Australian student who grew up in a wealthy family.
In Netflix's "So Not Worth It," he is known to be the youngest among the group and considered to be the life of the party.
Interestingly, Sam was also described as someone who bluffs out of his childish jealousy, especially when Minnie, played by (G)I-DLE's Minnie, got in as a trainee instead of him.
Amid his massive fame in the music industry, "So Not Worth It" is Youngjae's first-ever appearance in K-sitcom, following his 2013 melodrama movie "3 Step Jump" and fantasy romance drama "Dream Knight" back in 2015.

The 24-year-old celebrity proves that he is more than just being a KPop star.
With his portrayal as Sam, he captured the viewer's attention by setting out a fresh and vibrant atmosphere in Netflix's "So Not Worth It."
Despite being a newbie in acting, his unique performance entertained the fans with his realistic way of expressing his emotions.
In a video, the K-sitcom director revealed that he was surprised with Youngjae and (G)I-DLE's Minnie's performance, adding "Their acting was very natural even though it was their first time."
In addition, PD Kwon Ik Joon also lauded the GOT7 member and shared that he knew he was fit for the role upon reading the script
True enough, several online users echoed the same stance and gushed over his stunning visuals and portrayal as Sam.
"So Not Worth It" OST
Apart from his appearance as one of the lead cast, GOT7's Youngjae also lent his voice for "So Not Worth It" OST.
The OST of the same name was released during the K-sitcom's premiere and immediately landed at top 39 in the worldwide iTunes song chart following "So Not Worth It" debut.

With the K-sitcom being his first-ever major acting role, the 24-year-old idol shared that he is very thankful for the opportunity, adding that he is delighted to play someone who has a different personality from him in real life.
In addition, he also pointed out his experience working alongside other cast members, whom he described as "very good people."
Moreover, he shared that portraying Sam made him "happy and grateful" that he was able to discover a new side of him.
Apart from GOT7's Youngjae, "So Not Worth It" cast includes Park Se Wan, Shin Hyun Seung, (G)I-DLE's Minnie, Han Hyun Min, Joakim Sorensen, Carson Allen, and Terris Brown.
