The highly anticipated K-movie "High Five" starring Yoo Ah In, Oh Jung Se, Ra Mi Ran, and more return to production after postponing its filming session due to the COVID-19 scare.

According to a local outlet, a representative from the movie revealed that the team officially resumed production after the staff member tested negative from the deadly virus.

Luckily, lead stars, including the "#Alive" star and the award-winning actress, were not present on the shoot.

In a statement, the official explained that the staff tested positive on the morning of July 15 via a self-test kit.

This prompted the film distributor, NEW, to suspend the production and required the staff to undergo testing for the team's safety and adhere to the health protocols.

Meanwhile, the suspected COVID-19 patient had to go through a PCR test to confirm whether the said staff acquired the virus.

As we all know, PCR tests directly screen and detects the presence of viral RNA. Moreover, this also tells whether or not someone is positive for the virus.

Fortunately, the results came in negative on the morning of June 16.

"Most of the test results, including the staff, have been negative since morning." "Finally, if all the staff and officials test negative, filming will resume from 12:00 noon on the 16th," the representative explained.

"High Five" is the recent movie to resume its filming after halting the production due to the health crisis.

Earlier this week, Song Joong Ki's new movie "Bogota" announced that they are set to return shooting for the remaining scenes.

It came after the South Korean heartthrob came in close contact with an acquaintance who tested positive from COVID-19.

With this, the "Vicenzo" star has to undergo two weeks of self-quarantine even after testing negative for the virus. This is to make sure that he takes precautionary measures before going back to production.

"Actor Song Joong Ki resumed filming the movie 'Bogotá' starting on July 13," Song Joong Ki's agency, History D&C, revealed in a statement.
