Jo Jung Suk sends the internet into a frenzy after releasing a new "Hospital Playlist 2" OST.

The beloved South Korean star has once again lent his voice and sang the medical K-drama's track titled "I Like You."

In the newly released track, the 40-year-old actor proved that he has a lot to offer as an artist.

With his soothing and impressive singing skills, Jo Jung Suk definitely made his legion of fans swoon over his delightful voice.

Interestingly, this was also played in "Hospital Playlist 2" episode 5 during the karaoke scene.

To recall, Chae Song Hwa (Jeon Mi Do) wanted to prove that her singing skills have been better over months of practicing. With this, she suggests that they immediately go to a karaoke club to which the group did.

Obviously, it was Lee Ik Jun (Jo Jung Suk) who nailed the version of "I Like You."

The remake of "I Like You" was arranged by Jayins and Naiv, who also collaborated with "Hospital Playlist 2" OST titled "Rain and You" played in episode 1.

In a report cited by a local outlet, the duo shared that they slightly tweaked the song to make it more retro to compliment Jo Jung Suk's "sweet" voice.

"Instead of the acoustic feel of the original 'I like it,' I tried to change it to an electronic arrangement based on a retro sound. Moreover, it will be re-arranged with a feeling that matches Jo Jung-suk's sweet tone and will deliver a heartwarming impression no less than "Aloha."

Fans Hyped New "Hospital Playlist 2" OST on Twitter

Just hours after the "Hospital Playlist 2" OST was released, the song reportedly debuted at top 31 on Melon's real-time chart.

Fans are hopeful that Jo Jung Suk's song would make it to the top spot.

In addition, netizens expressed their support to the 40-year-old actor and have been raving about how good his version is.

The Time When "Hospital Playlist" OST "Aloha" Dominated the Charts

To recall, this is not the first time that the talented South Korean star sang for the medical drama.

During "Hospital Playlist" season 1, Jo Jung Suk released his rendition of "Aloha," originally sung by the trio Cool in 2001.

However, the new version displayed the actor's sweet and smooth voice that totally suited the song's melody.

Following the successful release, "Hospital Playlist" OST "Aloha" reigned the number one spot for 20 days in Korea's largest music platform, Melon.

At the time, Jo Jung Suk shared his thoughts on the overwhelming response from the public.

In his previous interview, he revealed that he had no clue that "it would receive this much love. I'm very happy and grateful," he added.
