Kim Min Gwi has found himself in the middle of a controversy after an alleged ex-girlfriend accused the up-and-coming actor of cheating and breaking COVID-19 protocols.
Amid the scandals, Kim Min Gwi's agency, Big Feature Entertainment, released a statement saying that the management will look into the matter.
"We are checking the facts regarding the article," a representative from the management shared to Xports News.

It came after a post was shared on an online community criticizing one celebrity and exposing that he has cheated on several women.
Titled "The true nature of an actor from the drama 'N_v_rth_l_ss' is revealed," the author of the post mentioned that the actor is currently appearing on TV and active on social media.
"I wish that everyone knew that you were a selfish, non-human, bad piece of trash," the post reads as obtained by a South Korean outlet.
In addition, the post also exposed the actor's misdemeanor, including going on a one-night stand, having numerous affairs, being verbally abusive, and more.
Although the post did not drop the celebrity's name, many speculate that it is the "Nevertheless" actor, given that the explosive post says that the star has been subjected to self-isolation due to COVID-19 issues.
"I was worried about you when you tested positive for COVID-19, but later, it turned out that you were seeing someone behind my back, and even when you started self-quarantine, you snuck out at dawn to meet her."
Kim Min Gwi Halts Activities due to COVID-19
To recall, around the first week of July, several outlets cited that Kim Min Gwi tested positive from COVID-19 after coming in close contact with someone who has acquired the deadly virus.
With this, the actor has suspended all his activities, including shooting for the JTBC drama.
In addition, the 26-year-old celebrity also underwent self-isolation as a safety measure.
Fortunately, lead stars Han So Hee and Song Kang tested negative from the virus.
"The cast and crew underwent testing, and they all tested negative for the virus. We are currently following the guidelines provided by the government, and filming will resume as scheduled," a representative from the JTBC drama explained.
From Runway to "Nevertheless"
Amid the rumors, Kim Min Gwi has been gaining the public's attention due to his role as the timid art student Nam Kyu Hyun in K-drama "Nevertheless."
Several viewers and netizens lauded the on-screen chemistry of the actor and his co-star Yang Hye Ji, who portrays Oh Bit Na.
Apart from this, he also landed on the action thriller drama "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning," where he plays Kim Tae Oh alongside the star-studded cast Kim Rae Won, Lee Da Hee, Kim Sung Oh, and more.
Interestingly, he also did a brief role in the recently debuted " Kingdom: Ashin of the North" as one of the Pajeowi soldiers.
Prior to acting Kim Min Gwi started as a runway model who made a name for himself after joining 2019 Seoul Fashion Week.
Two years later, he made his acting debut and appeared in his first-ever K-drama "She Would Never Know" as a guest.
