Kim Yoo Jung spoke about her decade-long career and thoughts with her upcoming K-drama "Lovers of the Red Sky" as she graces Allure Korea.

Kim Yoo Jung on Her Role as Hong Chun Gi in 'Lovers of the Red Sky'
During the Allure Korea team interview, the "Clean with Passion for Now" star shared her thoughts and expectations for the upcoming K-drama.
When asked how the actress decides on what project she wanted to do next, she mentioned going with what attracted her at the time.
Interestingly, she revealed choosing the K-drama "Lovers of the Red Sky" is because of the director.
"I looked forward to 'Lovers of the Red Sky' because the director, Jang Tae Yoo, is famous for historical productions, but I also really had fun playing the confident Character of Hong Chun Gi."
As for her previous rom-com series" Backstreet Rookie" with Ji Chang Wook, she mentioned that her Character Saet Byul made her accept the offer.
"Lovers of the Red Sky" is an upcoming historical fantasy drama led by Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop.
After the confirmation of the new team-up, fans express their excitement towards the duo's on-screen chemistry.
In the drama, she took on the role of Hong Chun Gi, who was born blind and managed to regain her vision as she grew older. Moreover, she is also the only female painter under the Joseon Dynasty.
How Did Kim Yoo Jung Prepare for her Character?
As the interview continued, the sought-after leading lady revealed that she used to do oil painting and acrylics as her hobby, but she loved photography the most.
When asked if this helped her portray the character of Hong Chun Gi, Kim Yoo Jung says that it helped her "experience emotions better" and experience it in different ways.
"I have more fun with the emotions that I'm portraying," she added.
In a teaser posted by SBS, the broadcast network shared some behind-the-scenes for "Lovers of the Red Sky," particularly Kim Yoo Jung's drawing practice, and was praised for her artistic skills.

Kim Yoo Jung on Growing Up in Limelight and Goals
Apart from Kim Yoo Jung's new drama, the 21-year-old actress also shared her experience working with various people at a young age.
In her interview, she mentioned how she feels happy working with people who have the same outlook as hers.
"Our thoughts are all different, but there are people that you realize are on the same wavelength as you after you start talking to them. Then I feel really happy and welcome and safe. Those are really happy moments for me."
Kim Yoo Jung made her acting debut in 2004 for the melodrama "Freezing Point" became the "Nation's Little Sister" due to her acting skills and remarkable dramas like "The Moon Embracing The Sun."
Aside from "Lovers of the Red Sky", she is also set to appear in two new movies--" The Twentieth Century Girl" and "Puppy" with Cha Tae Hyun and "Hospital Playlist" star Yoo Yeon Seok.
