"Hospital Playlist" cast Jo Jung Suk, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Dae Myung, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Jung Kyung Ho go to the countryside in the new variety show "Mountain Village Life Playlist."

tvN released two main posters featuring the five lead stars of the beloved medical K-drama.

The actors traded their hospital gowns and ditched the city life to enjoy the scenic, relaxed and calming ambiance away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

"Mountain Village Life Playlist" teaser touched a bit on their characters in "Hospital Playlist" as the cast gathered in an outdoor area with Jo Jung Suk leading the band.

Meanwhile, the second photo flaunts warm and charming personalities donning crazy and hilarious expressions.

Over the comment section, fans expressed their excitement to see the actors reunited in one variety show.

Interestingly, Jung Kyung Ho's Instagram also featured the main poster with the title as his caption and numerous rice emojis, suggesting that he enjoyed the food in the countryside.

Helmed by the veteran variety show PD Na Young Suk, the upcoming program is almost similar to his program "Three Meals a Day."

To recall, the cast also worked with the renowned director in their YouTube series "Camping Playlist" and also appeared as Mo Ne & Ma Ne's father, Jang Young Seok, in "Hospital Playlist 2" episode 10.

"Mountain Village Life Playlist" release date is scheduled on October 8 at 8:50 p.m. KST.

The upcoming variety show will feature a glimpse of their life living at a country house where they are tasked to cook their own food and harvest their own ingredients.

Moreover, the new show will also highlight their chemistry outside Yulje Medical Center.

Apart from the lead stars, veteran actress Kim Hae Sook, who played Ahn Joo Won's mother, Jung Ro Sa, in "Hospital Playlist," will also make a cameo and be one of their visitors.

According to a media outlet, the production staff hinted that the new variety show is "a gift for the viewers who have shown them so much, love."

The tvN medical Kdrama first broadcasted in March 2020 and returned a year later for its second season.

"Hospital Playlist" season 2 welcomed fans with remarkable moments, especially among the 99ers and their loved ones.

Not only did the sequel highlight the budding romance between the couples Wintergarden, GomGom, IkJun, and IkSong, but it also featured the connection and warmth of Yulje staff to its patients, giving the audience a sense of heartwarming pleasure.

Will the 99ers Reunite for 'Hospital Playlist' Season 3?

Amid the special episode and new variety show of the 99ers, a representative of the production team revealed to a media outlet that there are no specific plans yet hence the "Hospital Playlist" season 3 won't be happening anytime soon.

In addition, PD Shin Won Ho, the genius behind the medical Kdrama, echoed the same stance adding, "The original plan was to air in the same season across three years, but I told [the actors] that they are not tied up for the next season and that they should freely take on other projects."

Let's just hope for the best that our favorite Kdrama will return for another season.
