It is set in the present context of the fashion industry. Song Hye Kyo stars as Ha Yeong Eun, a beautiful and trendy team leader of the design department of a fashion company called "The One". Opposite Jang Ki Yong who takes on the role of a rich freelance photographer, Yoon Jae Gook.

For Jang Ki Yong, "Now, We Are Breaking Up" is his last appearance and project in the small screen for the time being after enlisting in the military in August.
On the other hand, the "Descendants of the Sun" actress is also working with Kim Eun Sook for their second project, "The Glory".
She is currently filming the drama, which follows the story of a woman who dreamed of becoming an architect, but she then stopped going to school after her schoolmates continued to ostracize her.
