On October 25, rumors spread like wildfire saying that the "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" heartthrob Kim Seon Ho is hospitalized.
On October 20, the actor released his personal statement and apology to his ex-girlfriend through his label, SALT Entertainment.
On the same day, his ex-girlfriend, who didn't disclose her identity, also issued her final statement, saying that the two of them loved each other with good feelings, and everything was just a "misunderstanding."

On the other hand, reporters and journalists were said to have camped at the waiting lobby of the hospital outside the actor's room, hoping to catch a glimpse of Kim Seon Ho and possibly ask him interview questions.
Due to this, Koreans expressed their dislike to the reporters for invading the "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" actor's privacy.

He received his breakthrough role earlier this year and led the widely loved "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" romance drama with Shin Min Ah.

The drama received critical acclaim and even topped Netflix global charts in several countries.
However, right after the drama's conclusion, Kim Seon Ho's personal life exploded like a bomb, which greatly affected his drama, and even worse, his career.
Kim Seon Ho's major promotions for Domino's Pizza Korea, Nau, 11 Street and more were pulled out. His endorsements and advertisements were also set to private in every social media platform.
He was also set to debut on the big screen in 2022, but his upcoming films "Dog Days" and "Sad Tropical" also kicked him out of the cast lineup.
Above all, Kim Seon Ho was sadly removed from his regular reality show of the fourth season of "2 Days & 1 Night," which also stars VIXX Ravi, Moon Se Yoon, Kim Jong Min, Yoon Jeong Hoon and Din Din.

In an episode of the variety show which aired on October 24, every trace of Kim Seon Ho in the pre-recorded show was erased.
In the opening logo where the faces of the cast appeared, Kim Seon Ho's face couldn't be seen. In group shots that were difficult to edit, sparse and blurry faces could be seen since the editing stood out.
"2 Days & 1 Night" production team worked hard to cover the parts where Kim Seon Ho can be seen with subtitles, members' enlarged shots and cute emojis.
On the other hand, Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho's "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" is available for online streaming on Netflix.
